ANNOUNCING!

Second Zendikar block. It looks primitive, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a "basic" theme like Imperiosaur and the likes

Very cool, does anyone have any more information about cards that are in the set? Imperiosaur would be cool. Although in a primitive world I am not sure we will find many vampires which would be a shame for the new Vampire Nocturnus.

I'm keeping an eye on both MTGSalvation and Gleemax, and so far, there's 3 planeswalkers in Zendikar: Nissa Revane (BG elf), Chandra Flamedancer (R?), and Sorin (B and maybe W Vampire). Also, obelisks are important. (See Zendikar post with plains and island)

Much better? Try slightly better. 265x370 vs 223x310 pixels isn't going to matter much when it is only a temporary solution under the real HQ pics are scanned and ready.

Also, there is no way to tell the card name from the picture at http://www.wizards.com/magic/TCG/Articl ... ke/spoiler and there is now way to show all pics on one page either. Since there is no name/label under or above each pic, How do you know what the card name for http://www.wizards.com/mtg/images/tcg/p ... _EN_LR.jpg is?

I can programmatically automate the collection of pics in a matter of seconds by finding the multiverseid from gatherer for each card name, then fetching the pic from a location like http://gatherer.wizards.com/Handlers/Im ... &type=card

Oops. What's it supposed to be? I never use crops anyway.

The number in the filename of each card is it's collector number. In this case, the "Apex Hawks" card is numbered "Card #: 2" on it's Gatherer detail page.

I'm not really fussed about quality of these as a stopgap, but it shouldn't be too hard to take the images from the visual spoiler.
