Will it be a simple reprint or a new set with the new symbols/copyright?
When you´re a goblin, you don´t have to step forward to be a hero -- everyone else just has to step back.

I think the only aspect thats going to change is the update to the new cardframe.

New card frame
New copyright
Same symbols
Same art
Same foil promos
Updated Oracle wordings (dies, exile, battlefield, etc.)

Not sure about the set code though. This may change and be the same across all the decks or it will be the initial set codes.

Official announcement said DD3 was the set code.
Not sure, but I think there are more tokens included this go 'round.
As I was not playing Magic when those decks were released, I'm definitely snapping this up.

I picked up a box. Cards have original set codes and set symbols. So, they're just a reprinting with updated Oracle, copyright and new card frames. Bit weird.

I can probably scan them during Christmas break, once I'm done with Commander.

First, thank you for posting this.

Second, question/issue. The naming for the lands is possibly wrong. Example the first forest is named "Forest"... not "Forest1"... which is how other sets have been named for me previously. Are these typos, or a change in practice?

Thanks!

Edit: Looks like they're named with the trailing "1" in some, but not others. I'm guessing a typo. Just FYI.

Not intended to be a change by me, anyway. I'll check with skibulk about this, I thought we were following the approach where the first card has no number, but looking back through previous releases that isn't historically accurate.

Either way, I'll figure out what it should be and standardize the names to that afterwards. Thanks for the note!

charlequin,

I've just uploaded a fresh scan on Abyssal Gatekeeper ("DVD-extra.jpg").

It took 4 attempts, but I finally got hold of one that wasn't printed smudged. :-)

Pyre Charger (JVC) might not have been included?
