So many posts lately this was pushed off the front page! Thanks deicidemilan for always keeping track of these set releases and starting the discussion.

We need a scan of Oblivion Sower...

A question about the Tips and Tricks cards - These used to be separate from the token cards but now appear to be on the token backs. Basically it looks like wizards got smart and now there is no reason to chuck all those pack inserts! Is that correct?

Also, regarding the basic lands - there are 50 of them - 5 of each type in full-art frames and 5 of each type in standard frames. The non-full art lands come in pre-constructed decks, right? And as far as I can tell, the collector's numbers are identical, right?

I believe it's not 100% of cards that have a token on one side, just around 90%. It is a change they confirmed for this set. The intro packs are the only place I know of to get the non-full-art lands, which at least in Gatherer have exactly the same collector numbers.

How do we sort the Tip and Ad cards now? I have attached the extras which I scanned. Did I miss any? Which ones appear as fronts? Currently I only know about the Duels Origins ESRB front...

Yes, and in the intro packs. Do we need scans of the standard frame lands? I can provide these.

Also, will we need scans of the expeditions?

Yes we need the scandard frame lands. I have scanned the full-art basic lands already.

Yes technically the expeditions are promo cards and are not numbered with the rest of the set. So we need those separately.

A little report regarding the BFZ extras posted in the "CCGHQ More Releases" folder: the 8/8 blue Octopus token has a cropping error on the bottom (P/T is cut off) in both 200dpi and 300dpi. Thanks a lot for your ongoing effort!

How should we name the basic lands in this set? Each has two versions with identical collectors numbers. As follows, without the parenthesis:

Plains1A (Full-Art)
Plains1B (Regular)
Plains2A (Full-Art)
Plains2B (Regular)
Plains3A (Full-Art)
Plains3B (Regular)
Plains4A (Full-Art)
Plains4B (Regular)
Plains5A (Full-Art)
Plains5B (Regular)

or

Plains01 (Full-Art)
Plains02 (Regular)
Plains03 (Full-Art)
Plains04 (Regular)
Plains05 (Full-Art)
Plains06 (Regular)
Plains07 (Full-Art)
Plains08 (Regular)
Plains09 (Full-Art)
Plains10 (Regular)

I'd vote for the first option. Makes sense to keep them paired and related to their collector numbers, i.e., Island1 is card #255 and Island2 is #256, regardless of whether full-art or regular.

Yeah, I'm trying to fit it into the official naming scheme by Huggybaby. The new challenge here is that we have two variables - 5 artwork X 2 frames each instead of just 5 artwork. I don't think we've ever had something like that before.

EDIT:

Actually, ZEN had this same dilemma. Back then we used:

Full-Art:
Plains1
Plains2
Plains3
Plains4

Regular:
Plains5
Plains6
Plains7
Plains8

In any case, we should settle on something for the torrent update.

Keep in mind that both Forge & MWS use the file names numbered from 1-10 for each of the 5 basic lands. Since most people are using the images for these apps, I think it should be kept as it is.

Just to show how both apps use the pics in the UI, as well as how the files are named, I included these two screenshots to show this.
Both apps are shown with their respective screens showing the lands & the folder & file names that are used to id & display them.

All this is assuming that the .full.jpg extensions are used, but even if not, the naming of the files should be, IMO, sequential.

I agree. It is concerning that they decided to number the full art and the standard frame cards the same as the Info Area, which should be able to identify the card, is identical.

1-5 for full-art and 6-10 for the normal frames would be my preference.

In the Battle For Zendikar BFZ-EN Extras for both the 200 & 300 DPI versions, the Octopus token has its 8/8 Power & Toughness numbers partially obscured on the bottom by the black frame of the card as seen here:
