printing card pictures
by Jessica » 18 Feb 2019, 20:17
Hi,
I'm looking for a program for printing Magic card pictures (I'm using HQ pics from this forum).
The pictures must be sent to my printer and have exactly the same size as real Magic cards, when they are printed.
Does anybody knows a program for that (if this exists)?
Any other guidelines for printing card pictures are welcome too!
Jessica

I noticed that mtg press is not updating Ravnica Allegiance cards. It says that if cards are on scryfall they will be on mtgpress but this is not the case. I tried contacting the person who runs MTG press but I didn’t get any response. Does anyone know another way to print out cards?

I think in that case the best option would be to buy a printer that can do this and so every time you want to do such an idea, you will not have to look for where to do it because you can easily do everything at home. For example, palmgear the best cardstock printer company can help you. Try to read about them and the reviews they have and you will find out if it is what you want or not. Personally, such a printer helped me a lot because at university I came up with many ideas with the help of it and it was very easy to realize them.

I used Magic Set Editor and was very happy with it.

Tried all the sites mentioned and they were a complete waste of time. What are you guys on when suggesting them? Makes no sense. All these magic editor this or magic editor that makes no sense to me anymore. Instead of spamming around it would be better to share with the rest of this community a tool that might coma handy at a point. Even better you could share services like where you can get your own custom frame of the pictures that mean a lot to you. I had a lot of the photos taken with my girlfriend lately framed by them and gave it as a gift to her.

There are bunch of proxy generators on GitHub with crazy high resolutions. I do not condone the manufacturing of proxies, so I will not link to them. (If you want to find them, search for them.)
Alternatively, I’m the developer of MTG.Design. It is not for making proxies of real cards, but instead for making custom cards. The images are 300 dpi.
