There are some glitches:extreme wrote:http://www.mediafire.com/?sfx665c5cnfu6et
Here is my set. I built this one to be as close to the real stuff as possible, all text and logos are positioned exactly as on the real cards.
Mox Jet has the right text frame squeezed compared to other moxes
Mox Pearl has the right bottom part squeezed and you clearly see a cut
Other than that they look really good.
If you ever do post 8ed frames please post them as the pre8th I got from you are superb.

wow, how did you see those ? thanks.
About frames, they will be done in a not-so-distant future. There is a clear lack of good post 8th frames on the net, I agree.
I also did the vanguard frame/template, and it's also good.

extreme and I are working on the post 8th templates right now.
He's been very busy and I'm dealing with illness/health complications at the moment.
Hopefully we'll have something soon enough, but don't expect anything really soon.

Well, there are 2 more now: time walk and Force of Will. Time to get to work.
All I found are these links:
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/a ... arcana/764
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/a ... nat11/day1
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/A ... nat11/day2
anybody has better pics than this ? I can't tell if the set logo is the same on both cards. I would also say that force of will no longer has a collector number (and time walk is 2/9)

If anyone is interested in doing the same treatment to this month's Legacy and Vintage prizes, the art for these can be found here:
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/activity/922
We'll obviously see the real card picture soon at GenCon to see what the flavour text and symbols will be but it should be similar to previous years.

Just realised that I forgot to post the link when this happened..
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/gencon12/welcome
Brainstorm is about a tenth of the way down the page and Timetwister is about three tenths of the way along this page. The "flavour" winning text on Timetwister is really stuck to the bottom of the text box. Looks a bit off to me.
Regardless, there they are. Two more non-traditional "cards" to add to the list.
Is there a full set of these renders done at the usual card size? It would be nice to see these on paper in card size. I mean, who doesn't want to create little stick on proxies of these for that cube that they run?

They're beautiful! The timetwisters have slightly different sized card names?

In terms of big, I meant in the same size as the regular card scans, without borders, etc. But these can always be cropped and resized.extreme wrote:these are as big as i have them.

As for the typo... I was shocked when I saw that! The first time that they ever get to print Timetwister with the correct Oracle wording and they get their grammar wrong. Shocking.

if I remember correctly there is no photo of the first Timetwister other than the painting. So it can be whatever size you want - we don't know.
