I have my generated ones from my same old scripts available at:
http://ark42.com/mtg/cards/Innistrad/Fulls.zip

What's the official way CCGHQ / MWS are going to do the double-face transform cards? Glue the two together side by side like that example you posted?

I'm pretty annoyed with the way the data is in Gatherer. Right now, without any changes, my scripts pulled each side of the double-sided cards in as it's own card basically.
For example, search for Rare and Werewolf and you get 8 results - http://ark42.com/mtg/search.php?rare=1&s3%5B%5D=110&startat=0
There are clearly only 4 cards, but there are 8 image files and 8 entries in Gatherer. Without some more coding on my part, you can't tell which card is the second front of which card.

Also, the color indicator isn't on Gatherer anywhere, even though they removed the "~ is (color)" ability line from the Oracle text for all the Pact cards and Dryad Arbor, etc. Where exactly should that be listed?

we're thinking about that. In fact, can MWS even use those ?

Can MWS reasonably handle Kamigawa flip cards? I never really tried, but I don't see any reason the data can't be formatted the same.

There's a convoluted way ...

    * Instead of using the double sided card you put another card X that is legal in the format and that is not otherwise used in the deck
    * Before the game starts, you warn the opponent that whenever the card X is around, it has to be managed as it was the double sided card (thus partially spoiling your deck)
    * If you prefere, when X would come into the battlefield, you can exile it and use a couple of tokens with the rule text instead. When the card would leave the battlefield, destroy the tokens and restart using card X.

By the way, it is not so different from the way you have to manage those cards in real magic games ...

Bleah!

actually, the double-faced and flip cards can both be used without spoiling them at all. there are two ways you can go about it, although neither one is really friendly with the deckbuilding module:

1 - put the scans of the back face (or flipped card) into your TK folder and create token versions of that second card state. create tokens as necessary.

2 - create a second card entry in your masterbase for the second card state (flipped/transformed) and put that second card into your sideboard and bust it out when you need it. this is easiest to track if you also put in one of those "checklist" cards in your sideboard, and then onto the battlefield just so everyone can see what transforms into what and you don't accidentally (or purposefully, cheater-cheater) pull out the wrong second state.

in either of these techniques, you just put the card as you'd play it (the initial card state, ie the front face or unflipped version) into your deck and use that.

hope this helps!

Hi. There's a little question. What would be the renaming on the cards like Mayor of Avabruck or Gastaf Shepherd???? And for cards like Erayo, Soratami Ascendant???

For your answers and your excellent work here, thank you very much.

Prom the perspective of BotArena, which can also use the HQ scans, we'd need full-sized scans of both front and back side under different names. And I'd suggest having side-by-side scans of front and back in one picture in a separate directory for easy reference.
