Photoshop Retouch Effect

I've been building decks via regular folders on my computer, with copies of files representing dupicates. I've been using the MWS scans obviously. However, i pull the scans from magiccards.info, and some of the scans aren't always so great, particularly promos. I've seen better re-scans of them on here, so it seems the site admin doesn't have the time to update.
Regardless, i noticed that the FTV:Exiled scans are justifiably different from non-foil. I took it upon myself to replicate non-foil MWS proxies for these cards. I know there's a strict no-fakes policy around here, but i wanted to share a retouch method i came across while doing this.
