I'd say the sharpness is more correct anyway.

Yes, I'd say that looks good IMHO.

Looks great! Could you post one with detail in the dark areas, like
Fires of Yavimaya?

Is there something other than the sharpness you would say is wrong with it?

Sure

Nope, unless it's blatantly oversaturated I don't decide those things, your histogram does.

Don't give me all the credit. Skibulk has supplied me with the hue/sat adjustments. I think I've managed to get the level's concept worked out.

DDL has been updated. The new torrent file is attached to the release post:
viewtopic.php?p=131962#p131962.
I also put up new samples for comparison. The text in the XLHQ looks gray rather than black to me, so I'm not sure the pics aren't too bright. Sharpness is improved though.

At this point I have designed the action scripts in Photoshop that if I have perspective cropped frames I can create the desired release images with whatever level/hue/sat settings desired in a matter of minutes. So if they need "re-rolled" with different settings that can be very easily done.
I'm just going off the settings that were passed along. I'll create an example of the different level settings that would affect the brightness to give examples.
Edit:
Examples attached.

I think the "new" versions are too light and the text is too gray. But this will never end if you listen to everybody, because everybody is right and everybody is wrong. Maybe we should leave the processors alone to decide things for themselves.

Here is examples of output that contains text with 4 different lightness levels.
(Which numbered one would you like?[little green number added to each image in upper right corner of art frame])

so far the best

I believe that was made similar to the level's on the #3 image on the example "figure of destiny" above.
I guess the question I need to ask is, what area of the card exactly is someone like Huggybaby looking at to determine that somethings is "to light" or "to dark"?

especially the black text or symbols, which shouldn't be full black, but not grey either.
