Baga's work is amazing. Even though the gist will be the same, I can't wait to see his Mox Emerald and Mox Sapphire. (Assuming he's doing them, of course, though it would make no sense to commission a different artist to complete the cycle.)

For some reason I'm thinking Time Walk will end up being ugly.

Someone ditched an old HP 3570c the other day. So I grabbed it and thought I'd give it a try. Let me know if this HP is any better than the All-in-One. If it is I'll give it a good cleaning (all those speckles are under the glass) and start scanning some sets.

it looks ok, I only see a problem in some parts of the text - some color fringing - cyan, yellow margins. These might be there because the card moved a little bit while scanning. Or the scanner could have a problem, i don't know.
But what exactly do you want to scan ? Right now we're only missing alpha & summer magic.

I've uploaded a 2nd scan which includes 4 different scan settings. Let me know which settings are preferable.

If this works, then I can provide the Alpha scans as well as several assorted foreign sets.

the first (left) but with no sharpening looks like it's what I need. But I also need to see something white scanned with those settings. And then a whole 9-page to look for other problems (besides the dust). Don't forget to flatten the cards on the glass (the lid is usually not flattening them, so it's better to leave the lid and use a book or something, this is important).

uh, the whole ALPHA ??????? now that would be something we weren't expecting. Ever.

Yes, I have a complete NM/M Alpha set that I am willing to scan. The catch is that the entire set is PSA graded, which means they are all in cases. The scan I provided is from one of the cards in the set. You can be the judge as to whether these cases cause any noticeable degradation in quality, but I don't believe they do. If nothing else you can use them as placeholders.

As for foreign sets, I've been trying to download the torrent of what you already have, but my ISP keeps blocking it, so it could take a while before I know if I have anything you need. Is there a text based list of what you already have somewhere?

I'll do a 9-up tonight when I get home, and also a 4-up of the Alphas. I can only fit 4 to a page with those, and I'll make sure there's some white in the background for comparison.
