the edgars would be very nice, but the scanner is simply horrible...

Yeh, the scanner is pretty awful considering, yould think newer stuff would work better than something 10 years old.

I'll see if I can borrow a better one, or see if a higher dpi scan works.

The Edgars I have are:-

Balance, Benalish Hero, CoP:white, Clockwork Beast, Death Ward, Dwarven Warriors, Erg Raiders, Giant Growth, Grizzly Bears, Sea Serpent, Plains, Forest (eyes).


I'll try and do some better scans of these soon.

Sorry for the Delay, I was promised a loan of a decent scanner (which never happened)

So, heres the rest of them, Im not 100% happy with the end results, as original scans were way way way too bright/washed out, these are the best between giving a much closer appearance in colours to the actual cards (Edgars are very dark, and some of the green cards are almost unreadable) while they do show the whites as a tint of grey

So I've finally done some research on the standalone scanners available in the market where I live and there's not a lot of choice.

Basically, the only brand I could get anything useful out of was HP but I was doubtful given this board's previous experience with the All-In-Ones...

However, these are a new range of flatbed scanners and I thought I'd ask the group which one would work best for CCGHQ's scanning purposes. And yes, I am investing in a scanner just for this.

These are the ones that I could at least guess are in a good enough range for card scanning:

• HP ScanJet G3110
• HP ScanJet G4010
• HP ScanJet 5590

There were more basic ones but I believe they won't be good enough. Does anyone know if any of these is worth getting?
