What's the difference between "extended art" and 'normal' tokens?

Looking to incorporate these into my bundle (why not?)

The same as with promos - the art extends to the border of the card. Only, I believe there are no real XA tokens, just the digital ones MD made:

Alright, looks fancy, but I think I'll stick with the official tokens for my bundle.

Also, I recommend you guys use www.sharebee.com when sharing stuff like this through a 'download site'. Sharebee will take what you upload to it and in turn upload it to a bunch of sites like rapidshare, mediafire, etc., and keep the link alive if it 'dies' at one of those sites. It's pretty useful.

FYI: A lot of the "normal" tokens are made up as well as tokens haven't been printed for every type of token creature that can be made in Magic.

The only official tokens are the old Magic Rewards ones, the Un-set ones, the newer ones from boosters since 10th Edition, and the Marit Lage token from the Coldsnap prerelease.

Possibly some special sets had original tokens, but I know the Anthologies tokens were just Unglued tokens in the box with Anthologies cards.


It's a fairly common practice to make ones own tokens for use with online play programs or to print and use in f2f games. Here are some L5R zombie tokens, for example.
