Yeah, something like that would be much easier to bring around and be able to take pictures of cards rather than carrying around a scanner and computer.

Yeah that's fine, now that I've verified there are no visible rosettes in even a scan of an Invention I don't think there's actually any quality issue with this approach.
So does this mean that the normal camera app is fine for pictures or do you need the DNGs or is the maximum export from the lightroom app format what you want?

I've got the needed scans list so I was thinking I'd just get any FTV foils in addition to as many of the prerelease promos and Inventions I can find.

The lightroom exports would definitely be better if possible but with good lighting and careful posing for accurate focus, etc. the first photo you posted should be okay. The iPhone 6S/SE is 12MP with very good optics so the saved result is still pretty good.

EDIT: reprocessed Saheeli's Artistry, should look a little better now.

BTW, just to keep things up to date on the promos list, from the Kaladesh Inventions I have in hand scans/images of Gauntlet of Might, Scroll Rack, and Hangarback Walker, so those can all be marked as "scanned" at this point.

Hi!
In the missing promo list
Media Insert Section, the cards look like San Diego comic con
Because I saw a already released folder of San Diego comic con cards
Is there a difference?

The SDCC cards we have on that releases don't come from actual scans but from hi-res photos or line art. More info here.
That's why they are technically still missing.
Nevertheless, I think the images charlequin was able to produce are super impressive :D

On that note, from the discussion further up in this thread, we may start to see more promo releases from photos/art since they are easier to get and the end result is pretty good.

Out of curiosity - were these scanned, or from photograph?

Combination. As with the Expeditions, I'm worrying more about getting good images for each card initially and will go back and touch them up for more consistency later.

Thanks charlequin. I've updated the missing promos list to reflect missing Inventions.
