I have ordered three boxes and eventually I can buy a fourth one. Let us see what will happen...PresetM, The Scientist: Will you scan them for us?
May be, so we'll have to experiment a little. But I think, in the end we will have nice scans.i think these ones will be tricky to scan, they use a different foil system
PresetM scans better than I do, but I have ordered 1 set for my personal use, and I'll give it try if PresetM doesn't have his first.Mahamoti D wrote:PresetM, The Scientist: Will you scan them for us?
yes, i did. There is no difference, and you can see it while rotating the filter and examining the reflection on the card. The LCD screen goes completely black seen through the polarizer, as well as other reflections - but polarizers are ineffective for reflections off metallic surfaces, as that light isn't polarized.Huggybaby wrote:Maybe now we can use the polarized filter idea I have had for ages.![]()
Has anyone ever scanned a card with a polorizing filter? Scan twice, rotating the film at right angles between scans, then compare.
