La traduction allemande c'est pire. On German cards, there are a lot of inaccuracies, outright wrong word choices (Shambling Shell->"Shambling Oyster", Graven Cairns->"Graven Stone Pyramids") and worst of all, involuntary sexual innuendo. And mind you, the average age in our group is somewhere in the mid-twenties, so it's not just some pubertal kids laughing about the "Semen-Swinging Witch" :?

Non non, tu n'es pas le seul, je te rassure ^^ (sinon tu parles super bien français, tu es français toi-même? simple curiosité de ma part)
It would be funny to have advices of foreign magic players about their native langage cards (russian, spanish, japanese, chinese)

i think this is a good idea, but maybe we should start a new thread, since this is about shards of alara and it has already gone horribly astray :)

Russian translation as bad as French (There were serious misprints. Do you like Selesnya Guildmage putting three tokens instead of one?) :( Nobody likes them, but official distributor HAS TO sell about 80% of the product in native language.
When you´re a goblin, you don´t have to step forward to be a hero -- everyone else just has to step back.

Wow! At this point I do not call that a serious misprint but a critical one!

Shards of Alara Tournament Pack
Each Shards of Alara tournament pack contains 75 cards including 3 rare, 10 uncommon, 33 common and 29 basic land. Foils are randomly inserted.

Shards of Alara Intro Pack
Intro Packs are replacing the former Theme Decks. Each pack contains a 41-card deck, 1 fixed foil rare, 1 random non-foil rare, 1 Shards of Alara booster pack and a rules insert.

And you can open a mythic rare from the tournament pack also or it applies only to booster packs?
Always outnumbered. Never outtrolled.

Mythic rare will appear in tournament packs. Man that'd be one good marketing scam if they put them only in boosters.
I like being bad... it makes me happy...

Well rule for Mythic rares are: "approximately 1 out of every 8 packs" :|

once in a while I expect to see a mythic rare in a tournament pack. but as the ratio is 1/8 boosters, that won't be half of the tournament packs.
