I've just received an interesting card... Fling in ENGLISH, the "falling star"/"astral" watermark and DCI number 69.
Scannen0168.jpg
Fling DCI 69 ENGLISH

As stated earlier, DCI 70 has been found earlier in German, so there might be a chance that they do exist in english as well...

Someone any infos about that?

At least, the Wiki can be updated with the additional info, I guess...

I'll try to gather more info about that english card. And about the italian Fling as well, they might have a different watermark like the spanish ones...

/Edit: here's what WOTC can tell me about the newly distributed Promos of Fling and Sylvan Ranger with new watermark and new DCI number:
"Hello Christian,

Thank you for taking the time to clarify you question more clearly. I understanding the request for this information is important as a collector, unfortunately the information about the specific distribution of these cards is not something that we have or can get access to. I apologize for any frustration in this matter.

If you have anymore questions please feel free to contact us again."

Wow...

chreschi wrote:Obviously, at least DCI 70 has been printed in German as well: http://www.mtg-forum.de/topic/83225-dci ... id__854088
Can anybody confirm the existence of DCI 69 in German as well? And does anybody know how to acquire the Japanese DCI 69 and DCI 70? I.e., when they were distributed?

skibulk wrote:I think this is the situation. DCI 69 is Fling in Japanese Only and DCI 70 is Sylvan Ranger in Japanese only. Both have the "astral" watermark. They were previously printed with the "DCI" watermark as #50 & #51. My question now is why the Spanish Fling (also DCI 50) has a different watermark than the English version and if this has occurred with other promos.

Interestingly many other forums have qualified DCI 69 & 70 as unknown for some time now. DCI 23 has been marked as never printed on these forums; I wonder if there is a possibility that it is a foreign promo?

Found Sylvan Ranger #70 in Spanish! One way we might obtain more info is by contacting the sellers on Ebay. If they received the cards at an event, they may remember it. If anybody here speaks Spanish, we'd appreciate it if you would send the seller at this link a quick inquiry.

I know the wiki has not been updated for a while, and you might currently have the following scans...
But nevermind... here are some home made HQ from my French Promotionals :

If you want original scans to make then HQ-rendered by Nyth or extreme, just tell me. If you want me to scan some again (Garruk's Horde for example, which is not top quality), feel free to ask.

I just saw that the Italian Relentless Rats promo wasn't also updated onto this thread.

Can be found in this post from the Promos & Box Sets thread.

Who has the money to invest in these?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MTG-GATEWAY-WPN-near-complete-set-in-9-LANGUAGES-274-296-cards-NM-VHTF-/251222985629?pt=Trading_Card_Games_US&hash=item3a7e0e8b9d

I'd be tempted to for the community as a whole, or if this is purchased by one of you, I would happily spend a month scanning these at HQ.

This would really bring down the number of LQ scans for this set.

Or maybe a scanner is located in the Czech Republic? Might be able to work out a deal, where you meetup with this guy and scan the cards for a much smaller fee; but he keeps them.

I don't have the time to be updating the LQ Scans right now. If somebody would like to take over I'll pass on the workflow for quickly maintaining this. Basically you just run through the ebay pages in each language, using some narrowing search terms I perfected.

That's correct. There are a bunch more German promo scans in the contrib folder, under his name. I uploaded them on his behalf.

Does anybody know anything about the Japanese International Two-Player Box Set? Are the prints any different from the Japanese white-bordered 4th Edition prints?
