Folks get excited about the latest releases, we wouldn't have it any other way. Try to ignore the wayward souls who get in a hurry to post, they mean no harm.

I would love to see some vacation photos:

1) Extreme at the beach, on a surfboard, processing pics.
2) Extreme on a skilift on a snowy mountaintop, processing pics.
3) Extreme on a Carnival Cruise ship, processing pics.

But are we getting these photos in XLHQ and post-processed by extreme? This is important. What if extreme has to take another holiday from processing these photos, and we have to see those photos with the same treatment, and the loop never ends?!

Now you are just beeing ungratefull. If he wishes he can go on an holliday for the rest of his life and all we can do about it is thank him for all that he has done for all of us for free.

Then we'll release after he gets back. A week isn't long in the grand scheme of things. NTM, extreme's vacations don't usually coincide with a release. In addition, there are some damn fine alternatives! If gatherer had posted pics years ago, this project MIGHT not have ever started. In addition to that, there is more than one excellent utility here purpose-built to acquire those pics for you. Not that you would have to, they're already acquired and posted by enthusuiasts.
