Has anyone used it? Forbes has done a fantastic job.

His site needs a glory shot though.

Ah that's a very nice confirmation of its goodness. Will this be an option to MWS, or will it replace MWS?

Propably like we dealt with Apprentice + MWS.
First, give it as option to players to play with, but keep the important tournaments with MWS.
When more players and judges get used to it, make it the playing applications for the trials and masters,
then in case MWS tournaments (minis, those randomly show up) cease to exist, replace MWS completely.

I guess people are sick and tired of MWS bugs. Crashing in the middle of a game just stinks. That's no way to run a tournament, what a headache!
Are there any more tutorials or other info that you know about? There's no official forum for OPT on Jorbes' site.
He used to post at MWSData once in a while.
PS I don't speak much German but I know what Ayahuasca is!

1. Guide for OPT
2. OPT Forum
3. M-L and OPT
4. Tired of MWS
An older (from v0.86, it's now 0.99e) guide can be found at
http://www.magic-league.com/guide/go/go.php
I know about http://onlineplaytable.com/guide.html only, about non m-l guides.
2. There exists a subforum of magic-league for OPT at
http://www.magic-league.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=18
3. Since
http://www.magic-league.com/news/202/an ... or_go.html (OPT was previously called G.O Gathering Online)
there were made several updates.
The latest News post about OPT can be found at
http://www.magic-league.com/news/323/up ... r_opt.html
Magic-league actively supports the development of OPT, you can try OPT at m-l's server at opt.magic-league.com
4. Good MWS bugs, 2 years ago it was an undiscovered field, but meanwhile (at least I) people got some knowledge about it with only few situations uncovered. And just then, that knowledge becomes redundant due to the abandonment of MWS as playing application. What a pity :<

Excellent, thanks for the links.
I appreciate Magic-League too. I've posted over there about various things related to what we do here (and did at MWSData), and miraculously I've never been flamed, which means a lot to me. I don't look all over your site to be honest, but I know Nico is a great moderator.
<edit> Oh I see, you guys have a great OPT forum!

Hey peeps,
Considering the situation with M-L & the WOTC C&D BS (talk about abreviations) it may be a wise idea to move
the opt forum elsewhere, so M-L wont get into trouble for "hosting" OPT files and such.
Huggy, if you want to make a subforum, please feel free and I'll post the links, news etc there from now on.
Again, nothing against M-L, I just dont want to get them in a pickle.
Thanks

As you know we're very happy to have you here Jorbes. I want to make it clear to our friends at Magic-League that this is not the way we like to get new members. They have an excellent forum for you with great participation, and if they say it's OK for you to be over there then that is for the best and I would stay focused there because it's a long slow process getting contributors and interested parties to move from one forum to another.
Now that I'm done with the disclaimers, I won't mention them again.
Here is your forum: http://www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=50. You have full moderator privileges there, and I started a placeholder topic for you. Please feel free to update it, delete it, or change it as you see fit, it's your baby. If something doesn't work as expected contact me and I'll do my best to fix it.
Again, welcome. I hope this forum is as fruitful to the development of your cool app as your last one was. I look forward to playing a game on it with a friend or two in the near future!
