The New Captcha

I think picking out kitty cats is easier than deciphering the last captcha we had, so I really look forward to seeing how things turn out with the new system. I read that spammers pay people in low wage countries to register at forums, what a job that is!

Yes, and it is impossible to block them. But if they use scripts to automate the process (the only thing spammer does is to decifer the image) - scripts won't work.Huggybaby wrote:I read that spammers pay people in low wage countries to register at forums!
When you´re a goblin, you don´t have to step forward to be a hero -- everyone else just has to step back.

I upgraded my phpBB2 forum to phpBB3 recently at http://mtgstudio.com/forum.
As usual spammers came along and my old custom textual confirmation was not good for phpBB3 I came with a new (and I believe cool) solution:
Magic oriented custom captcha which does not require optical recognition madness.
