Heya, I am MTS. I am new to Magic. I was looking for an offline CCG/TCG since my internet is spotty. I found this and decided to try it. Now I plan to buy cards and play the game I love it so much.
I have been doing pen and paper RPGs since 1980, and write supplements for VtM and the old percentage based Marvel RPG.
All of my books I have written are hosted at my website Gaming Nerds R Us. To prevent spam, the mods do not allow hyperlinks in signatures for new accounts (a smart move), but Google can find my site if you are interested.

Hello Everyone,
I am Charles. I've been a fan of good art for a long time. I've played CCG games in the past, but not many. Now I'm all about CCG! That's why I'm here. Hope to make some new friends and share some great cards.

Hey guys and gals,
i'm Sephelosia. I am a Magic player for a long time and i really enjoyed playing Shandalar in the past. I made this account so that I can thank the people currently working on improving Shandalar and perhaps contributing although i barely know anything about computers .

Hi, my name is Eric I was one of a few to play magic before it hit the mainstream. I only no this because I was selected to be part of a play testing they did in 1994. I fell out of it for a while but starting to get back into it. Also if anyone knows anything about playtesting decks. I still have the decks they gave me to try and learn the game, and then give feedback on what I felt about the gameplay, and if it was hard to learn the game on my own. A pretty cool thing to be a part of the history of MTG. So if you know anyone that would know about these decks please send them this way. All I know is their extremely rare, and there is nothing on the market to compare them to. It's time for me to put my daughter through college so I'm hoping these are worth something?

Hi Eric, that's very interesting, thanks!
Can you be more specific about the cards you have? And do you have a scanner?

Yeah it was a good time. They look like the first set of cards they put out. The only difference is that the casting cost are different then what they put out on the market, and they printed out stickers that have different abilities on them, and covered the original abilities and enchantments.
I do have a scanner. I'm on vacation though. I'm actually going to be headed into the WotC headquarters to get a letter of authenticity. Just so if or when I go to sell them people will know their the real deal.
So I lied. Just got an email from wizards. The cards were for portal so it would have been 95/96 when I started so I wasn't one of the first. I don't want to claim something I didn't do.

From what I understand, the casting costs actually worked differently. Time Walk was 2U because it was "2 total casting cost" and required "1 blue mana"TheBeast24 wrote:Yeah it was a good time. Hello, I'm addict insane.
I was wondering how to insert in my posts that small clause that closes and opens when an user clicks on it to show text. Modders use it to display cards contained in mods/decks, you just press OPEN and it shows the cards.
Not sure I know how to explain myself, english is not my native language, let me know if you understood.
