viewforum.php?f=26 this no longer leads to MTG Forge's part of the forums. Is there a way to get there directly or does one always need to traverse the entire index now?

Can't confirm it. It works ok.

Yet it does not work from my bookmarks. And does not work from the url bar, so there IS a problem even if you aren't experiencing it. Glad to be of help reporting it. You are welcome.

I copied and pasted "http://www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=26" into my URL bar. Loaded fine. Also, I have a bookmark for the Incantus subforum. It also works fine. Sounds like the problem is on your end.

Works for me too. Flush your cache and make a new bookmark.

Clearing the cache does not work. I still get returned to the forum tab top with a link only to the index of the main forum. The fifth time was the charm...I still think it's odd that it did that at all for no apparent reason.

Just yesterday a friend of mine asked me why one of his bookmarks to another site was no longer working. Who knows? I deleted it and made a new one. I've said it before and I'll say it again---Stupid computers!

Strangely the behavior is back. Cache cleared, new bookmark....doesn't matter. :/

"The forum you selected does not exist." this is the message I get.

slightlymagic.net/forum/viewforum.php?ntheme=style2&f=26

thats the bookmark minus the http: // and www.

It's the theme that's causing the problem. You'll note that by removing "ntheme=style2&", the page will load. That is the true problem.

I agree that the theme is what is sticking in the php's craw so to speak but that means keeping the default theme which isn't at all cool. And it is something that developed after a change in the global settings of the forum not something I changed personally.

Yes, agreed. It is definitely a bug in the forum software if you can't have the theme in the link.

Here is the odd thing. It isn't consistent. Sometimes it works correctly and sometimes it doesn't.

"ntheme=style2" thing is no longer supported. It was outdated feature of SolarSentinel style.

You may use SolarSentinel or prosilver as you wish. BTW have you tried another browser?
