MWS bundle (Magic 2010)

EDIT: Don't forget to follow the instructions in the torrent to add the tokens I forgot to add!

Well, I completed the torrent I was working on before, so I thought I'd share it here. It's hosted on Mininova with a variety of open trackers:

http://www.mininova.org/tor/2864563

The thing I forgot to include in the readme is the actual stuff included. I'll be adding it to the torrent description shortly. For now, it includes:

  • Magic Workstation 0.94f, cracked
  • All high-res pictures, full and cropped (checked by MWS Picture Assistant)
  • All preconstructed decks
  • Newest masterbase and theme

If anyone finds something missing or wrong, let me know. :) Hope it's enjoyed!

The picture assistant has some errors in its collection, that's why Nyth suggested waiting for the next pics torrent.

Why did you include the cracked MWS? AFAIR it adds no functionality to the trial version.

it adds less waiting time for the users through shutting down those annoying "BUY MWS!!!" ads when you start the program ;-)

I'll update the pics when the new torrent comes out, if it's easy to know which pics were updated. If not, I'll just merge the two lists together on my own computer, and link to that torrent in this bundle's description, and then my next release with the updated full pic list will be with the next bundle.

As for what the cracked .exe gets you, here's an edited version taken from the official "how to buy" page, with the ones that don't apply in red:

Q: What is the difference between the evaluation and registered versions?
A: Your registration key will get you:
* Shareware reminder and banner windows will be removed;
* You will be able to create your own cardsets without limitation (30 card limit in unregistered version);
* You will be able to test your decks without having to use "mirror-match" mode;
* Limitation for one page Deck/Proxy printing will be removed;
* Reminder labels in any output documents will be eliminated (in export menu);
* You may change your photo or avatar, and the play background, and your opponents will be able to view it when they play;
* You will gain access to the private part of our forum;
* You will gain personal support by e-mail;

Also, I probably should include the "Old Theme" as well next time, to give people a choice.

No problem.

I actually made this bundle at the same time that I'm getting back into Magic after a while (I 'fell away' right after Morningtide was released), and the last time I had had MWS installed was several partitions ago, lol.

So I just kind of dove into this headfirst. Gave it my first real try on my laptop, and apparently my instructions were good. :D

Hopefully, this will get a lot of support and be the easiest and fastest way to get everything you need in as few steps as possible.

I've updated the bundle's torrent description to include a link to the token compilation, as well as a link to the thread containing the instructions for adding them in MWSPlay. It'll all be included in the next bundle (quite a ways off, haha, but at least what's not in my current bundle is talked about/linked to in the torrent description, so people won't miss it).

Still seeding it constantly. :)

I use Old Theme, as New Theme crashes my client.

Also, the MWS exe is cracked, but the MWSPlay isn't, so you can't test with other decks, and you can't change your avatar. This is a little bit of a bummer, but being able to proxy decks easily is nice.

Interesting that one theme would do that while the other doesn't.

I'm aware of this, but I've scoured the Internet and I can't find a cracked MWSPlay.exe for 0.94f. If you do, let me know, and I'll include it right away. :)

EDIT: I may have spoken too soon...up to eight seeds now. :)

Torrent isn't living very well...maybe I should just make segmented .rar's and stick them on Mediafire or something instead...

Of course, that would get rid of the ability to let people pick and choose things, like I was able to do on my own laptop by not downloading the pictures.

Guess I'll have to think about this a bit...

My pleasure. Glad to see it enjoyed!

Don't forget to add the tokens via the instructions in the torrent description if you didn't already. :)

Double-post, but this is like three weeks later, I doubt it'll be a huge deal.

Torrent is still going strong, my ratio's up to 44, and I'm primed for the Zendikar update, planning an update torrent for it as soon as I have all the necessary materials. :)

I'll try to be constantly (meaning whenever I'm online) seeding the latest bundle and all updates released after it. \:D/
