Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Hello everyone!
First I would like to thank everyone on here.
I have been a longtime lurker, first time poster.
I have spent hours looking through threads and downloading links to figure this out, to no avail.
Thus this post.
I was into MTG from Alpha through Homelands.
I like playing the original Shandalar but I see that you guys have added new cards to it.
Here is the question:
Is there a way to add specific sets to Shandalar, such as Homelands, Ice Age, etc.?
I was reading about ini files and stuff like that, but couldn't figure it out.
So just to reiterate, I want everything from Homelands and older, but nothing past Homelands.
Is there a way?

It's possible, but not at all user-friendly yet.

See this thread and/or this thread. The first is more focused and specific, but assumes a higher level technical cluefulness.

I was on both of those threads and became confused, so I will wait until it becomes easy
Is there a link for the most up to date (Windows 10 Friendly) without the newer cards?
