I am a newbie and I need some help.

Hey guys,
I have been playing magic for about a year and I found a guy who was getting out of it and sold me all of his old cards for $5. I organized them in their box by color and rarity but there are so many that now I don't know what to do with them.

What I need help with: I am looking for a program that basically lets me catalogue the cards I do have and build decks with just them. I want to be able to sort and reference by edition and color. I want to search with in my own cards by card type, color, or mechanic (such as flying, shroud, or landfall, etc.).

Anything like that out there?? I have been looking and I feel like I am so new to this I would have to download a million things just to find what I am looking for. So why not ask people who obviously have been around the block a few times. Thanks to anyone who responds. I really appreciate it.

I'm new myself but I would suggest Magic Album. You can get it on this forum.

You can catalogue your cards and build deck using just those cards.
