Changes to Organized Play
by Kl3p_co. » 10 Nov 2011, 17:26
For those, who still don't know, WotC announced massive changes to organized play last week. I know, that this forum consists mostly of either casual players or inhabitants of US, and therefore it might not be of much interest to you, but I still think that it is worth mentioning.
Many pro players, including Brian Kibler, or Paulo Vito da Rosa had long comments on their respective sites (channelfireball or scg). There are countless petitions against the changes, mainly against the "destruction" of Worlds as we know it and making it a pseudo-invitational. Noteworthy is the facebook page "Begging WotC to bring back Worlds"
Although I wrote that this might not be of interest to casual players, it does (even if only partially) actually affect them, so I would like to hear your thoughts on the topic
