Load Deck Error: Invalid File Format

The error shows up whenever I try to load a deck for solo or online play. I've done some looking on the forums and the actual MW site and haven't turned up much. I'm running XP (not vista [-o< ) and I have re-installed several times to try and fix the error. I've tried taking out individual cards to see if there was a problem with any one specifically, which was the suggestion I got off the MW forums after a long search, but it didn't help at all.

I appreciate the help guys, especially huggybaby who directed me to here. Happy holidays :)

Well, why don't you post the deck file on here and we can take a look at it... Or better still, open it up in a text editor such as notepad. If anything is out of the ordinary you should be able to see it straight away.

For all of you who have had this problem, or have no idea what is causing this, for future reference remember this.

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.

This is something I didn't do upon installing MW. I random clicked stuff till I was satisfied and when I discovered that it didn't suit my liking I clicked more stuff trying to get it to work.

Do a clean uninstall, even deleting the MW folder in your c: drive or wherever you installed it to. Even using the MW uninstaller leaves your themes and previous deck files in the folder so make sure you delete those too. Afterwards reinstall and make sure you follow the directions.

Happy Holidays Everyone #-o
