Hello,

I have noticed that the combo Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle + Prismatic Omen doesn't work properly. The ability of Valakut should trigger on a land of the type Mountain entering the battlefield with 5 other such lands on the battlefield, not on a land named Mountain entering the battlefield with 5 other such lands on the battlefield.

It is an already known bug, a bit hard to fix for now.

The AI gets into an infinite loop of tapping Basalt Monolith for three colorless mana and then untapping it with them.

No a real bug, because you can do it in a real game. Of course that is weird, because AI stucks doing the same thing all time, but its very hard to fix that behaviour without a good C++ coder.

Basically, fixing this bug would involve making the AI understand why it shouldn't do it. And this particular thing is under Tournament rules, stalling the game. Explaining THOSE rules to a computer is much harder :)

Hi,

I really want to try botarena. I'm using Ubuntu and launch the soft with Wine. I've created a MWS folder and inside a folder for each expansion with the right name. But I still have no image displayed on the preview screen or deck building demo.

I'm looking for an idea to change that :) ?

Do you have the full path? Botarena folder\Images\Cards\MWS? Maybe you omitted a directory level...

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

The path seems correct. But the display of each image is so weird. I can see the mana symbols, but the text is unreadable and the illustration is not visible.

I would like to post a screenshot but I had this message : Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs.

Maybe it's because of my computer or because I'm using Ubuntu.

Other linux users reported same problem several times. It is an incompatibility with this type of software to emulate windows, because BA uses some windows core dlls.

Hi,

First of all, thank you for this amazing program :).

I found a bug with Decree of Justice. The first time I cast it, there was no problem. The program let me choose angels or knights (cycling), any number of them according to the number of lands tapped. But the second time I cast it (in the same game), there was no angels options on the action list, just knights. Although I tapped 12 lands, so X=4, and the program should give me the option of obtain 4 angels.

Hi again :).

I found another bug. The program forces me to sacrifice City of Traitors when I put a goblin in play, after dealing damage to a player with Goblin Lackey. It's weird cause when I cast a spell normally, City of Traitors stays in play; but when the lackey ability activates, then I have to sacrifice the City.

There is a bug with Shrine of Burning Rage if it is controlled by Computer.

The AI always seems to tap 3 Mana during his upkeep when the charge counter ability triggers. But the ability should trigger automatically without the computer tapping Mana.

That is an issue with AI, not a problem with the card. AI sometimes taps mana during its upkeep phase when a trigger happens.

Sadly, battlestar, who started this project and coded the AI is not longer on the project, so for now, we can't fix it :?

The computer cast Slaughter Pact on its second turn. Having only 2 mana at the start of its third turn, it couldn't have paid the 2+B mana so should have lost the game. This action was not even triggered, and it continued playing. That's not only a bug, it's bad AI decision making. :?
