I thought about putting this on my Top 10 whishlist, but it isn't an actual card, so it goes here.

I would like to see avatars for the players - not with pictures or stuff, just something that I can drag and drop a targeting effect onto. For example, a dying Perilous Myr, a Lightning Bolt, a Thoughtseize and so on.

You can do that since BA has avatars 8)

Oh, really? I never noticed that... well, I guess that turns the feedback into "Hey, this even has avatars, how cool is that?"

A really very nice new feature for this great piece of software would be to have an option to play a Gauntlet mode (like in old Microprose's MTG game) so we can play against AI in a row until a prefixed number of matches while player don't lose a match (AI would choose decks at random of available decks in its folder) and not only independent games.

It'd be really amazing and BotArena gaming would be improved a lot. Oh man I hope you at least can try a look at this. [-o<

A big bunch of thanks in advance. =D>

I'm just dropping by to congratulate the whole BotArena team for their outstanding job making a rule-enforced software that is worthwhile and not frustrating to use. I'm making a comeback from a long hiatus of playing MTG, so I don't have that many suggestions to make, other than the possibility of changing the zoom factor of the cards, to take advantage of HQ scans (I was always a huge fan of the artwork). I also noticed that one of the current (few) shortcomings of the software is the inability to use "clone" cards: if you ever manage to find a workaround, I'll be a happy camper!
Thanks for your hard work, kudos, and keep new updates coming!

I think that the card size CAN be changed...

In hindsight, I reckon I didn't explain myself properly in regards to zooming: In my display, I find that a 200 form factor is the ideal to have minimal clutter, while being able to identify the cards. When you use the zoom-in feature in-game, it goes to the maximum of 300. I was suggesting that the form factor could be increased to accommodate HQ pictures, like the 680x480 pictures I'm using. Kind of like when you zoom in "Duel of The Planeswalkers". Sorry if anything got lost in translation in the first time, but English isn't my native tongue.

As far as proper feedback goes, I've just noticed that "Wound Reflection" (Shadowmoor, Rare) is working the opposite of what it's supposed to: instead of losing again the amount of life lost in a given turn, players are actually gaining the life they've lost back, making for a funny, albeit endless loop.
Thanks!

Thanks a bunch! BTW, "Animate Dead" is apparently only being able to target creatures in the opponent's graveyard, instead of all graveyards.

you must activate "All actions" check to do that move.

In theory that wouldn't be hard to do, but in this moment the only person who is working on BA development is dinghammer, who has implemented over 180 cards from Avacin Restored and fixed a bunch of bugs, as "Wound Reflection" one, for example. That is a huge task for a one man work.

So, I will ask for people interested on BA and that their wants work coding on the project adding cards, fixing bugs and improving the app.

And dont worry for your english. A lot of people here has other language as native tonge, as me for example ;)

Thanks! The "All Actions" option resolved some problems I was having with multicolored-mana producing lands, but I never thought of trying it out with Animate Dead... *facepalm*

In regards to BA development, I'd love to help, but I have almost zero skills in regards to programming (learned some c++ back in my freshman's year in college, that's about it :( ), but I'll report any and all bugs I come across. Still, it's amazing to see the huge number of cards flawlessly implemented.

Sometimes the coding skills are not the most important part when someone wants to participate on this project. During the development, except for battlestar and may be a couple more devs, I think that very few people had deep C++ skills when their started on the project. The rest of devs, we have learned it tinkering with BA code.

If you are interested, just PM me.

Is there a way to keep an onscreen indicator of opponents poison tokens, other than looking in the message box all the time to keep track?

No, just on message window.

Probably is easy to code, but not enough time. Maybe someone wants try?
