Here is a new release of BA. It includes 107 new cards from several sets and includes some from M12.

As I said before we have a surprise. In this release BA supports Commander format (see "How to play commander games on BA" threat) with some new Commander cards, and you can play Vanguard format and Archenemy as well (see corresponding threads)

As usual, a lot of bugs was fixed and we improve a bit deck editor using new dots for card types, which includes now artifacts, lands and multicolor cards. Also BA supports graphic symbols of phyrexian mana.

We had a big problem with the core which affected to enchantments and abilities which grant keywords as continuous effects or only during a turn. Please test BA and if you found some problems with that kind of cards, please report

Now all changes on this release:

Card bug fixes:
- Azorius Signet and other signets wouldn't crash the game anymore.
- Celestial Ancient and Borborygmos fixed. Now put +1/+1 only on creatures.
- Cultbrand Cinder fixed. Now its casting cost is 4(B/R)
- Dauntless Dourbark fixed. It had a weird bug which sent the creature to the graveyard when you control another treefolk.
- Demonic Dread fixed. Now it is a sorcery spell.
- Draining Whelk card type fixed - Artifact type removed.
- Fevered Convulsions fixed. Now it has activation cost.
- Garruk's Companion has trample now.
- Gitaxian Probe now is a sorcery spell.
- Gravitational Shift and Chaosphere fixed. Now they will not crash the game
- Hearth Kami casting cost and P/T fixed.
- Illusionary wall casting cost fixed.
- Inner Sanctum casting cost fixed. Now it cost 1WW instead 4.
- Intuition should be fixed.
- Keywords losing enchantments fixed
- Magnetic theft fixed.
- Momir Vig, Simic Visionary fixed - now doesn't draw non-creature cards after a blue spell.
- Perilious Myr triggered ability text would be showed now.
- Phyrexia's Core should be usable now.
- Reckless Wurm and Arrogant wurm fixed. Now are 4/4 creatures.
- Remember the fallen fixed. Now you can choice two artifact creatures with it.
- Sutured Priest fixed. Now you gain life only when a creature enters the battlefield under your control.
- Tezzeret's Gambit fixed. Now it is a sorcery.
- Volt Charge is now an instant.

Other changes
- Added non functional changes from oracle: Liliana Vess, Skyshroud Forest, Star Compass, Gloomwidow, Leaping Lizard, Goblin Ringleader, Grave Defiler. (may'11)
- Added functional changes from oracle: Winter orb, rebel informer and mercenary informer. (may'11)
- Fixed typos on several cards.
- Fixed rarity on some cards.
- Fixed Deck Editor context menu crash
- Added Phyrexian mana graphic support.
- Statically animated card tokens now have a correct cost, what makes them safe from cards using CMC=0
- #STARTBATTLEFIELD and #STARTEMBLEMS support added for deck files.
- Added view of Command/Emblem Zone
- Upgraded some graphics on deckbuilder

Wow. No more crashes with Signets? I just began to love these random crashes. There was always an exciting moment before the untap step when I would win next turn: "Will I get to win this game? Will it crash? Let's find out!"

All jokes aside, this seems pretty awesome. I guess I will play some Kamigawa Block Contructed with Heartbeat of Spring, as well as lots of Pauper games with Cloudpost decks.

There seems to be a small typo in the installer package, though. It is named "BotArena.1.29.1msi", but should be "BotArena.1.29.1.msi" (a . before the msi).

The file uploaded as BotArena.1.29.1msi instead of BotArena.1.29.1.msi, not that it's a huge deal but some people may not realize they need to rename the file because Windows won't recognize the 1msi as a valid extension.

Other than that, looks like an awesome list of changes, no more cursing at myself for right-clicking in the wrong spot in the deck builder!

Edit: Ah Replika, you beat me to it!

I was thinking about it and i've decided to do a special version for you without Signets fix. I think that you enjoy that sitation of random crashes :mrgreen:

- How much of M12 can we expect in 1.30?
- When can we expect 1.30?
- We got some sweet lands in 1.29. Can we get the Calciform Pool cycle next? And Time Stop? And...er, that's it for now :)

Hi

I will try to answer your questions:
- Currently we have 171/249 of M12 cards. Mostly reprints but some new cards as Jace, Memory Adept for example.
- That release would be out over next weekend (July 15 or so) but it depends of a lot of factors and release could be delayed. we like to do a release one a month as you can see, but sometimes....
- The only new land for now on 1.30 is Buried Ruin from M12. About Calciform cycle, well their are tricky because you can add two different mana color.

Main problem with BA development is that we are only four active developers, and currently only two are active this week, and next one i will go outside of my home for 5 days, so unless other start working, the project will be with only one. The project is huge, the code is also huge and we have a very huge to do list :lol:

Can we do a new release then? The answer is yes, we have a good bunch of bug fixes and some new cards, but of course not all M12 cards which could be supported by BA will be on that release. :wink:
