Hi,

I was just trying to set up BotArena and was watching a video here:

and saw that the rules text would pop up when the mouse was hovered over the cards. I got all the images downloaded but couldn't figure out how is this configured?

Do you have the problem with card images or with text pop-up?

*Pop-up text box can't be configured. That works by default. Always that you put the mouse over the card, that box will show current oracle text for the card.

*About images here you can found a tutorial to show card pictures on BA.

*facepalm* It's "default", Fran... "Defect" means something quite opposite.

Text pop-up (I have the images) - I never see Oracle text; about 90% of the time I will see the card name only - "Cloud Elemental2" - without anything else.

I'm running inside VMWare Fusion in a Win7 VM, but can't image that that would be. The firewall is set to allow in/outbound connections for BotArena.

Sorry, but i have not idea why you can't read complete text. The problem seems due the machine emulator.

IMHO, the problem is that exist an incompatibility between vmware and maybe the font used by BA, or the way how BA puts mana symbols. Can you see complete text on lands?

Do you have the same problem on deckbuilder?

The only text I see is printed directly on the card itself. I'm not sure what deckbuilder is?

Deckbuilder: try pressing CTRL+D in the main window?

No I can see all the rules text.

Seems a incompatibility with virtual machine or maybe a problem with fonts.

Can you tried BA on Windows XP on that virtual Machine?
