I've been reworking on zone popups (from the symbols in the player status area), and this is my current incarnation:

The screenshot doesn't capture the interaction (the scrollbar on the bottom lets you quickly go through all the cards - hopefully i can put up a youtube video soon). Any comments/suggestions? One thing i need to change is the selection interface for when you have to pick multiple cards from the zone (currently they move to an area above the zone display).

I'm a bit late here, but my suggestion is:

It looks like you are using mouse actions to scroll left/right through the card selections, but keyboard control is good too, so make it so you can use left/right arrows as well. A mouse click brings up the selection screen, arrows/mouse scroll left/right, mouse selects.

Oh, you can't tell from the video, (I think because i didn't try it out) but the zone scrolling already supports the left/right arrow keys (and up to sort the zone alphabetically)
