actually, multiplayer would probably be the hardest
mainly because the entire gui would be different, and the rules engine would have to change quite a bit. The easiest would probably be p2p games

p2p nice... when you think to implement it?
for that you will have to redesign the the gui
at least with two text boxes... one for log...and another for send messages... make them transparent and resisable like the cards

Having a log is understandable, but for chatting can't you use google chat or pidgin or AIM or one of the others that already exist?

Many modern games use chat through an external server, not within the game. I'm just saying implementing chat within incantus should be the lowest priority, since it's possible to chat other ways.

Logs are implemented (just hit the TAB key to pop it up). It currently shows the 15 most recent events. Let me know what other events I should capture (currently I only log playing cards, lands, abilities, and card discards).
Also, I agree with Huggybaby - chat is currently near the bottom of my implementation list (also because the 3D gui library I'm using doesn't handle text input well enough for typing yet). If anybody has experience with networking using the python language I would be happy for help.
