Oh, didn't see that before. The link for the CardArtNew_.rar file was broken in his post for me, but worked when you posted it. Odd. Anyway, I grabbed those, but still seem to be missing card art.Snacko wrote:Mathy already does provide cumulative art download, he stealth updates it so you never know if it's new

http://rapidshare.com/files/229587824/CardArtNew1.rar and currently you need to download http://rapidshare.com/files/230706555/CardArtNew_.rar to be fully up to date.
Such as,
Abbey Gargoyles

Ageless Sentinels
Akroma's Memorial
Alabaster Wall

Anaba Spirit Crafter
Ancestor's Chosen
Ancient Spider
Angel of Despair
Angelic Curator
Angel's Feather

Arc Lightning
Arcbound Ravager
Arcbound Worker
Armadillo Cloak
Ashcoat Bear
Ashenmoor Gouger
Asmira
Assasinate
Assault Zeppelid
Auratog
AVATAR - Chaos Orb Lite
Aysen Crusdaer
Azorius Chancery
Azorius Signet
...and that's just the A's. See, even those of us who are in the know are still getting confused.
EDIT: Oops!
Nevermind! It seems WinRar was only extracting 2100 of the 2500 card...bizarre. I now have what looks like a fully updated set. I'll zip it up and Rapidshare it for the moment, until I can get my server links all done.

Hi. Please don't get angry with me, but I've just seen this thread and I'm a bit consed: shouldn't we use our Wiki page as reference point, instead than another thread in this forum?

No one should get angry with you for stating your opinion Orion, that's what the forum is here for!
If people have things that they want to discuss concerning this topic, the forum is the place for these discussions.
As far as the wiki is concerned, the use of it is fine, but the point of this thread is to get all the files that relate to ManaLink on one server if we can, thus eliminating the constant re uploading of these files, and once again I stress, making it easy for the new players to find things.
Really people, this isn't rocket science. The goal is to get everything on one server. Period!
We now might have the chance to accomplish this, thus ending, for as long as this server would be available to us, this unorganized, jumbled and frankly confusing method we have now!

I'll take a look. Where do I get the code?mathusalem wrote:Also, to retort, you had made some very intersting posts regarding your desire to update the game graphics, frankly, I ve been begging for someone with coding knowledge out there in the great universe to take a little time and check out were the game loads its images and make a few changes so that it loads some new images. Now while I appreciate your hosting files, and since you said the changes would be easy, I think a great help to the community would be to use our knowledge into solving this mistery.
I would be very grateful.

Step a) disassemble magic.exe
b) find the pic loading routine
c) find out what format the function returns (maybe as simple as DIB)
now to the easy part
d) write dll with your own routines that take the same parameters but return the data from png / jpg (most of the heavy lifting done by libpng / libjpeg
e) attach your new dll and patch the calls in magic.exe to your custom function
viola you got your new graphics into the software

I have a friend visiting right now, so I can't promise anything, but I'll try to get the FTP account set up for Bog and Huggy up tonight.

Dragonstorm crashes to desktop while trying to put a second dragon into play. 100% reproduceable. I'm on XP32.Except for Vista, I don't think there are any showstopper bugs currently. As far as I know, the worst bug is Sword of Fire and Ice, and that's not game-ending.
That's the only consistent crash I know of, though there's still some AI lockups where the computer gets stuck and won't make a play.

Some others cards that is 100% chance to crash in some conditions should be disabled until it's really fixed, like Academy Rector and Pattern of Rebirth, it's a pain to see them available and still be restricted in partial gameplay.

Please don't post bug reports in this thread guys, this thread is strictly for the discussion of establishing a server to host our files!
Thanks.
Thanks.
