there is no doubt that is a good lookin program to build decks.its got me thinking a bit about the possibility of replacing the current deckbuilder but im not sure how the game would load the program. it also gave me an idea about using the bmps from deckbuilder and recreating it with this deck editor..just thinking out loud. i do like this program. Good job

it could be an option, but we won't have to use bmp's : we can even use pngs and therefore make a more modern looking interface with transparencies and so forth.gmzombie wrote:there is no doubt that is a good lookin program to build decks.its got me thinking a bit about the possibility of replacing the current deckbuilder but im not sure how the game would load the program. it also gave me an idea about using the bmps from deckbuilder and recreating it with this deck editor..just thinking out loud. i do like this program. yes this program looks practical but as I said it need a more user friendly and game oriented interface. and we can help with that for sure

ha ben, c'est mieux !
c'est super que tu ai ajouté la possibilité de voir les cartes à la place du tableau excel. tu arriverais à grouper les cartes identiques dans le deck ?
I'll translate if french is not your native language but I have the feeling you can read the lines above

How about using tabs ?
the new information you want to give is interesting but a lot of it appear a bit small. The cards look a bit small : if you use tabs you could have a tab for the book mode one for the mana curve and the chart mode, one for some other deckbuilding tools.
whaddaya think ?
EDIT : also there 's a usefull feature in the present deckbuilder, espacially with so many cards, you can navigate by typing th first 2 letters of the card you're looking for. it could be nice to have that. However I realize you chose to filter the cards by color and I don't know if that's possible in that case.

Just as an FYI, if everyone ends up loving this deck builder more than the original, it is possible to replace the original with this one.

That is a very interesting possibility jatill as just yesterday, I came across a problem that I think would not happen with petirudy's app. I am experimenting trying to create some Tribal card pools for addition into the DraftSets folder. When I got to around the 240th individual card, the deck creator ran out of screen real estate so I could not see any of the cards outside the original view to the right of the frame as there is no scroll feature for that part of the window, (if there is a way to do this & I missed something, someone let me know!).jatill wrote:Just as an FYI, if everyone ends up loving this deck builder more than the original, it is possible to replace the original with this one.
It's funny, in the 12+ years I've played this game, I never came across this problem as I never built or opened someone else's deck that contained this many cards!
So, if this new app can handle and display this amount of cards and more, I'd be keen to use it inside of the game. I haven't tried it yet to see if this would be so, but I will do so when I have some time during the holidays.

i have the same problem and i too, never remembered this happeneing in the original games, even if i put over 500 cards in the deck. i'm not sure that something didn't get modified along the way that caused this..Bog Wraith wrote:That is a very interesting possibility jatill as just yesterday, I came across a problem that I think would not happen with petirudy's app. I am experimenting trying to create some Tribal card pools for addition into the DraftSets folder.
