Hi, New here, just stumbled across your awesome update for this game, thanks a lot for offering this to anyone interested. I like to play a lot of Standard Type II, blue in particular, so my list is a bit aimed there. Though I think whoever has been choosing the cards to add each new set update is doing an excellent job, there were a few that stood out that I'd like to see. So here's my list:

Into the Roil
Consecrated Sphinx
Spellskite
Spell Pierce
Inquisition of Kozilek
Tectonic Edge (though I'm sure it's tough to justify this and Wasteland, but I'd still like to see it)
Mystifying Maze
Entomber Exarch
Precursor Golem
Oculus

I'll just add more when i think of them cause I'm sure I will.

These are already coded in the Limited Version.

These are impossible as now :

The other are interesting choices, but actually I'm really only coding Tournament prices (you could compete if you want, check the dedicated thread), a few stuff I like and waiting for Innistrad. And then... We'll see, but I fear we'll have to make some painful choices.

So if they are in the limited, I suppose there's a way to move them to the standard version? And I lost you on tournament prices? What is this about competing? Are Spellskite and the golem no able to code because of difficulty in their wording? Thanks.

No, you misunderstood me (and I did few typos) : actually, since we have only 2000 slots for cards, we're very strict on what we're adding to the Costructed version.
Since I'm the main coder for new cards, sometimes I add stuff I like, but mainly the new additions comes from new sets or are chosen by the winner of the Tournements we make (I wrote "price" instead of "prize", my bad).
As for Spellskite and Precursor Golem, they're uncodeable because currently we aren't able to change / force the target of a spell. It's a pity, but we still haven't access to the source code, so some limitations are impossible to overcome right now.

Innistrad looks to bring quite some awesome cards, some insta-adds, like enemy duals with the same condition as M10 duals. Some that seem troublesome like the double-sided cards. But so far, what I really, really want is Olivia Voldaren.

Alright, since Gargaroz is amazing and cleared out half my list in one update a week later I feel completed to update it too. I took out the stuff I have learned is in the limited version or are "uncodeable" (even if Gargaroz seems to make those limitations VANISH).

Laboratory Maniac
Stormkirk Norble
Stormblood Berserker
Brimstone Volley
Moorland Haunt
Darkblast
Twisted Image
Consecrated Sphinx
Arc Trail
Nihil Spell Bomb

Thanks to the team for supporting this community. Its really amazing.

Hi,

Orim's Chant - it would be great to see this card in Constructed version. (I think this card is never done)

Also, could you put in latest Constructed version fallowing cards:
Silence
Elixir of Immortality
COP: Red (I think this is removed from latest version)?

I would do this by myself with My2000 software, but I cannot make it work. Is there new version of My2000?

Thank you in advance.

Orion79, I have just read guide you posted. It contains lots of information.
I have got confused because you explained that only what is needed for replacing card is copying string from Limited "Magic.csv" to Constructed "Magic.csv" and runing of “csv2dat.exe” (and if hard-coded cards have to be replaced we have to use SkyMagic.exe). After SkyMagic.exe tutorial you said: "My2000 has screwed up and you have to use SkyMagic editor to add the right code." Sorry, I have read this guide twice but I cannot find tutorial for My2000.exe.

Question is: Do I need to SkyMagic.exe or My2000.exe or none of these software?

I must say I did not try anything from the guide, yet (I am at the work, but when I come home..).

One more thing I have to say, I try to run My2000.exe on my PC with Win7 and only what I got is cmd window and than nothing. After few minutes I open task manager and searched processes for My2000.exe.. I could not find it. I assumed that My2000 is never run or maybe Win7 quits it.

No, Those cards will appear in a new "version" of Magic, called "Custom", that is accesible through the "Switcher" option in Constructed version main screen.
Thanks to your notes, I'm improving the guide. I'm also attaching files to it, in case that you miss them.

You need both softwares that you have named. My2000 makes the works much faster while SkyMagic.exe is used to manually switch cards and to make fixes.

PS: I'm running My2000 under Win7 and everything goes fine. Maybe you are making some mistake: you need to run it from within your Magic folder.
