With latest version, the message error is gone but in a clean installation the program marks all cards as "No ID found". It can see old ID but can't find any new one and, in fact, the "New Cardname" folder is empty. I wonder if I'm missing any file with a clean game installation.
What are the dependencies for this tool?

Orion79, at startup from id-changer the program creates a file named Schema.ini in the magic_updater directory.
In that file the separator is declared. Could you check if it is the right one? The file will be removed when closing the program.
You can read that file with notepad/notepadd++
Needed :
ID-changer.exe in Magic-root folder
manalink.csv in magic_updater
able to create file Schema.ini in magic_updater
Playdeck folder
able to rename Playdeck folder
able to create folder Playdeck
Microsoft .net framework 2.0 ( you should already be at 3.5 or 4)
program is build for x86, but it runs on my Windows7 64bit

Yes, the file is created with the following contents:
[Manalink.csv]
Format=Delimited(;)
ColNameHeader=True
MaxScanRows=0
CharacterSet=ANSI

Everything looks fine but the program still do not provide any advice about how to fill the New Cardname field.
Also, as you can see by my attached report, it also claims that cards as " Swamps " must be replaced.

From my version, took a peak at your deck with no ID card changer and noticed some incorrect id (white and red creature in your apparently artifact black).

I ran the ID card changer and after check it seems your deck got correctly corrected

Hum is it possible to have a complete log of the deck changes? With the show only error option unticked we don't see all details...

Yes, in fact almost all of my decks imported in the latest version are messed up: don't know why.
Here is the ID-changer.log file without the "show only errors" option ticked.

I meant for Dave, sorry, because in your log it only show errors and not non error (all your cards give an error though), it could be nice if we have a trace of a successful conversion.

Orion79, can you zip your playdeck folder and send it so we can check them all?

Here you go, even if this one is just the 1.5 part of my deck that does not include EDH or Vintage. I keep them into separate folders with different names to prevent unfair challenges upon random selection.

Sorry for this late reply. No, the CSV should only stay in the "magic_updater" folder, only the .dat files are needed by Magic.exe.

Well as your post suggested in the dev section you are running another version of ML (you still have the special char problem like Ring of Ma'rûf)...

Also you said you installed the no limit patch with a clean version, did you mean with original CDs or the ISO version ?

ISO version, as far as I remember. Please, if you can provide the right manalink file, I will be able to confirm your diagnosis :)

I was told that using a very old version of 1.32 through no limit patch would cause issue, so maybe that is why you had some.

Well, try the version that most of us have been using, provided by GCSMtG :p

https://rapidshare.com/files/194994241/MtG.rar

It's a nearly clean version but you need to apply the last big patch from Sonic, Aswan Jaguar and all the others folks
