With seven mana in play, I cannot cast Battle of Wits. Four of those lands can produce blue mana. It simply doesn't show up as castable.

This isn't a bug per se, but where can I report the typos(spelling, uppercase, spaces, etc.) in the card descriptions/flavour text?

Not a top priority I know, but I have a bit of OCD about seeing the typos.

If I can help by checking cards for typos, should I create a new thread? Or email someone?

It's easy to change the typos... just open the Manalink.csv file in your Magic folder, search for the card and make the proper corrections. Then save, close and open csv2dat.exe; and you are done. I changed that way my 5/0 artifact lands

Yes, well, I was thinking along the lines of finding the typos for the kind people who made this possible, and getting them fixed so that they don't appear in the future releases.

I follow the standard format on cards, where if multiple abilities are listed, separated by commas, only the first one has uppercase.
No full stop for ability keyword as on cards.
For Aven Squire and other similar cases, should a standard format be decided? Sometimes I see multiple abilities listed separately on 2 or more lines like the card, other times they are combined into one line with commas.

Whoa, that's a lot of things :) Any chance you would like to make those changes to the csv file and upload your changes? Thanks.

By the way, a couple of those changes, like putting 2 abilities on 1 line, are so that all the text shows up on the card. So those I'd leave alone.

What program should I use to open and edit Manalink.csv?

It opens with Excel by default, but Excel reports some errors while opening the file. It does open though.

About those cards that combine the ability text into one line, I'll look at them on a case by case basis then. A couple of them can clearly be split into two lines because of no/short flavour text.

I already tried editing using Excel and I think it works, but when I view cards using the Deck Builder the changes are not reflected.

I double checked the manalink.csv in my mtg folder and it does have the changes.

Anything I have to do to make the changes show?

You need to run csv2dat.exe to have the changes applied in the game. Whether you have this or not, please upload your changes, and I can incorporate them into the official releases. Thanks.

I just realised that using Excel increased the file size, it must have corrupted the file to be incompatible.

I'm making the changes to a fresh backup using Wordpad now, and after running csv2dat.exe the changes do show.

Will upload once I finish redoing/testing it.

*Edit*
Finished fixing the typos and formatting.

To the anonymous cardmaker, "control" is spelt with a single "l", not "controll". "Controller" is double "ll".

I daren't say it is typo free now, but there shouldn't be any obvious ones left.

Just encountered a huge bug with Kitchen Finks. When it died an error occurred in which it said that some or all of its combat damage couldn't be dealt. I hit ok and the game continued. The Finks died but the game proceeded to then start dumping infinite copies of it into play, asking me to pay its mana cost, which if you hit cancel it would play it anyway.

I will try to duplicate it for a more accurate description with a screenshot.

Yeah, I put a screenshot of that same bug earlier in this thread. It's actually not infinite Finks; I think it stops at 100 or so :p It did stop at some point, anyway, after holding down 'enter' for about 2 minutes.
