I too can't understand WTF Google is doing!

Patience, you will hit #1 now in less than 1 month. It just takes time.

Two suggestions:

1. Always come to this site through a link. Do not come here directly froma bookmark/favorite. Remember, you need site to site traffic.

2. Stay away from any sites ahead of you.

Live Search is now called Bing, and we're number four. Momir Basic in this forum is also easily found with Bing, which also points to frwololo's Wagic site, while Google fails the momir test.

I suggest everyone check out Bing because these results show that being in the Google habit may be detrimental to your searching efforts on other topics too!

Bing is very cool...it shows a lot more promise than Google's outdated model and is gaining in popularity rapidly...which is good news for getting people here!

Google needs some competition. The time is ripe for finding new alternatives!

Yeah, am I the only guy tired of the Google monopoly? Competition is good for the internet, it shows that things are working the way they're supposed to be. Looking at what happened to General Motors shows that being biggest isn't always the same as being best, although you become biggest by being best in the first place.

I heard that one reason MS chose the word Bing was because it's "verbable". So, now when talking about looking something up, we say to "Google it", and we can also say "Bing it". But nobody was ever going to say "Microsoft Live search it", it just wasn't right.

Actually I think that they had second thoughts after releasing the....what's its name again ? ....ha yes "Zune" ....which wasn't verbal at all.
Well I'm Ok with the Google monopoly, Vs a microsoft monopoly, because I think we see amply enough microsoft stuff anyway. so one place where they are an outsider...that's fine with me.
The only thing I really don't like about Google is when they sell a device to crack down on disidents to the chinese authorities. I think that Ethically that's pretty seriously crappy.

Would they have just removed a letter and they would get the whole estern side of the world in term of popularity in their previous name
