Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Just did a search in Google using "Manalink" and we are now the eight selection on page 1! No longer needed to use "ManaLink 2.0".

The old site is still ahead of us, but it won't be long until we pass it and eventually will be the number one hit on Google.

We've certainly shot up considerably in the last month or so since we were on page 3.

Thanks to those who linked to us from their sites, and to all who have used Google to find us!

I found this highly-informative forum just over a week ago, searching "ManaLink" on Google... think I found it on page 2 though. Most of the other links were not very helpful, so I'd expect CCGHQ to make #1 soon. Thanx BW and HB... Appreciate!

ManaLink 2.0 is also mentioned on the Wikipedia Page for Magic: The Gathering (MicroProse), with this link in the References Section. This forum has become rather noticeable! ^_^

Yes, I added that link, and one on another wiki as well. I'm doing everything I can to help people find us. There are a couple of forums I haven't been able to post in for some reason, so feel free to spread the word.

I doubt he's looking, if he hasn't found this site by now. Like Lonefox, I'm assuming that his contribution, while substantial, was fleeting.

That's how I found this site. It's really, really incredible. Thanks for everyone's hard work.

We're now #7 on Google and #5 and #6 on MS Live Search, #8 on Ask.
#15 and #16 on Dogpile, #17 on Metacrawler.

Very funny: when I came to this forum, this thing had to be kept secret, because we were all afraid of breaking copyright rules and now you are all happy that we are on google 1st page... mah

Metacrawler still exists ? dear, back in 2000 it used to be rumored as the next best thing.... but i thought that thing had disappeared and was obsolete; is it still any good ? (better than google .)

I can't say that Metacrawler is better than Google because it doesn't have its own search algorithm, and it searches Google (as well as Yahoo, MSN and Ask). I don't know how many people use it or any of the other metasearch engines. It is good to try and break the Google habit though, they aren't perfect.

Orion, we have never been secretive about anything, either here or at MWSData. That's always been my approach because I've never wanted to be like any other forum. I will not operate from fear, looking over my shoulder. Nor have we ever been contacted by any "authorities" regarding our contributions.

And, although it required registration to download manalink, manalink.de was no secret either, especially judging by its extremely persistent #1 Google ranking.
