While playing the new challenge mode, I've noticed that damage does not seem to be applied at the correct times. For example, when I play a
Shock on a
Kobold Taskmaster during my second main phase, the damage effect 'card' is stacked behind the Taskmaster, showing that it should take 2 damage, but that damage is only applied later (usually during the combat damage step of the opponents turn, so the creature gets to attack and deal damage to me one extra time even though it should be dead already).
Once I got into a situation where the opponent didn't have any creatures, and couldn't play any for a few turns in a row. Meanwhile, I was dealing some damage to him every turn, so by the time he could finally play another creature there were 9 damage effect card-things waiting to be dealt to the opponent (they were finally applied when I managed to kill the creature too).
Another bug that I noticed while playing the challenge mode is that when a Lord is being played, the +1/+1 effect is applied before the Lord comes into play. For example, suppose that there are 2 Lords already in play (both 3/3), then the opponent plays another. While he is still 'on the stack', and I have a chance to respond, the Lords in play are already 4/4 instead of 3/3. This means that when I respond by playing a
Lightning Bolt on one of his existing Lords, it doesn't die because by that time it already has 4 toughness.
Off-Topic : as this is my first post on these forums, I'll also take this opportunity to say that you guys are doing an amazing job with this project. Taking an old piece of software, that was not created with the goal of allowing user-made modifications, and adding in all this new stuff is really quite an achievement.
