I don't know what an internet limit is, but it sounds awful!

While playing the new challenge mode, I've noticed that damage does not seem to be applied at the correct times. For example, when I play a Shock on a Kobold Taskmaster during my second main phase, the damage effect 'card' is stacked behind the Taskmaster, showing that it should take 2 damage, but that damage is only applied later (usually during the combat damage step of the opponents turn, so the creature gets to attack and deal damage to me one extra time even though it should be dead already).
Once I got into a situation where the opponent didn't have any creatures, and couldn't play any for a few turns in a row. Meanwhile, I was dealing some damage to him every turn, so by the time he could finally play another creature there were 9 damage effect card-things waiting to be dealt to the opponent (they were finally applied when I managed to kill the creature too).

Another bug that I noticed while playing the challenge mode is that when a Lord is being played, the +1/+1 effect is applied before the Lord comes into play. For example, suppose that there are 2 Lords already in play (both 3/3), then the opponent plays another. While he is still 'on the stack', and I have a chance to respond, the Lords in play are already 4/4 instead of 3/3. This means that when I respond by playing a Lightning Bolt on one of his existing Lords, it doesn't die because by that time it already has 4 toughness.

Off-Topic : as this is my first post on these forums, I'll also take this opportunity to say that you guys are doing an amazing job with this project. Taking an old piece of software, that was not created with the goal of allowing user-made modifications, and adding in all this new stuff is really quite an achievement.

When playing in challange mode I have experienced two bugs I have not encounterd before. Not sure if it's because of the challange mode though.

One is that there suddendly dissappears a lot of cards from my library (30-40 cards, apporiximately). I am not certain what causes it, but I am suspecting Wooded Foothills and its likes. Could also be Demonic Consulation (which perhaps is more likely to cause this effect).

The other bug is that Akroma's Memorial was countered by a Mana Drain, and yet my creatures were given vigilance. Unfortunately I could not test wether they were also given any other of the abilities granted by Akroma's Memorial, but the creatures showed no symbols indicating any new abilities. I believe the creature affected was a Relentless Rats. I am not certain, but I seem to remember that also another creature (also Relentless Rats) that came into play after the incident of Akroma's Memorial, was given vigilance as well.

I have encountered this vigilance bug as well with Captain of the Watch, after it was countered al soldiers in play got and kept vigilance, the ones that came into play after it also received vigilance.

I'm using Windows Vista and found two problems:

1 - Akroma crashes de game every time I play it
2 - My "playmats" doesn't show. Instead of it the battlefield is completely black.


Also, some pictures are still unexistant, such as Cryptic Command or Cloud Faeries.

Is it possible that you didn't download the 'manalink facelift' update yet? You can get it here. It is a seperate update, not automatically included in the more recent updates (probably because it is quite a bit larger).

I've found some new bugs: now not only Akroma but every legend makes the game crash.

And in the Challenge mode tha game always crashes in the middle of the third round.

"Lord" creatures start giving +1/+1 bonuses when they are casted, not when the enter the battlefield. It is annoying when AI casts its Lord of the Undead and you can't Shock its Sarcomancy token.

Not all of them do this, but yeah, I've seen the same thing happen. The ones that do it are consistent, though.

AI's Sarcomancy is dealing damage to itself (in challenge mode) even though there is a zombie in play on my side. It has none in play right now. The zombie in question is Tidehollow Sculler, which I mention in case it being a gold artifact creature is confusing Sarcomancy somehow.

Just noticed that in the deck editor Vault of Whispers has a 5/0 tag lol :mrgreen:

Edit: Also whenever I run normal manalink, duel is always set to challenge even if the txt ini files are set to 0

cursed scroll: doesnt deal damage - exactly after i select a card in my hand, computer chooses a card i dont have in hand at all (i had lightning bolt and barbarian ring, but mountain was chosen); and when i have only 1 card in hand, it seems no card is chosen (isnt revealed) after i select the card; and when i have no cards in hand, its a dead end because of missing cancel button.

rancor: is returned only sometimes to hand after being destroyed

living death: causes some creatures act strange - kitchen finks comes into play in two copies with -1/-1 counter each; eternal witness comes into play in multiple copies (until its cip effect is cancelled in the card from graveyard selection dialog)

plow under: computer searched his library for 5 lands with land tax after i bounced 2 of his lands with plow under

Secluded Steppe text show "Serra Sanctum comes into play tapped", should be "Secluded Steppe comes into play tapped" instead.
