I think it must be some other card it is interacting with that is causing the bug. I've used this card a lot in my 499 card decks and haven't had any recurring problems. I'm sure I crashed it once or twice with this card, but it works fine for me.

same here , i´ve used maelstrom archangel in a few oath versions along with a lot of time walk effects - never had any problems with it. it must be the card you are trying to play with it(gifts ungiven for example never worked for me,100% crashes the game for me).

Planeswalkers issues:
- Planeswalkers can be disenchanted
- When you chumpblock, you PW will still receive damage.

PW is considered as enchantment due to game engine limitation, so it has all enchantment properties, like fetch :lol:

enlightened/ydillic tutor ^^

i´ve NEVER abused them to get a plaiswalker :^o

ontopic:

cursed scroll doesn´t do anything. i can play it , i can activate it , i can choose a card for it - but it doesn´t deal its 2 damage :?
upped a savegame with it.

I can't believe I actually had this happen naturally in a game, but I was attacked by the AI with a Lord of the Pit, and I blocked with a Baneslayer Angel. The demon killed the angel and dealt 2 trample damage to me.

edit: if relevant, the most recent update I have installed is the one right before the fetchland fix.

Tried a debug test and those 2 seems to work correctly, though the Baneslayer Angel getting Progenitus fix can be tricky if you have it as opponent and need to finish it with a spell after combat damage step resolve (it seems Profix is removed only after next turn).

Edit: Oh and btw did you get the 5 life from Baneslayer Angel lifelink?

when i use Ancient Tomb and have Planeswalker under control opponent choose if ill get damage from it or my planeswalker (controler of Ancient tomb should choose)

@stassy: Yes I got the 5 life. The angel didn't get any of the protections.

@blackblade: That is a known issue based on current engine limitations/lack of knowledge. It'll happen with any damage source.

Also, when the AI attacks a planeswalker, once the declare blockers step has passed, if you destroy the attacker with something (lightning bolt, plowshares, etc) the planeswalker will still take damage from the creature even though it has left play.

Tangle Wire has the wrong casting cost. It should be 3, not 4.

edit: If you use Serum Powder to mulligan a hand with Progenitus, it will shuffle progenitus back into your deck (and remove from game the rest of your hand as normal)

hmm thats odd.
it says cc3 in the deckbuilder. i´ve also checked it with the skymagic editor - it´s 3 there aswell.haven´t actually played with it yet though.
(i´m using patch 20090911)

The cc4 was in the 20090910 patch. The 911 patch already fixed this, among other things. It's fine now, though Tangle Wire will show up in deck editor even when you filter out noncreature artifacts; i.e. you'll see it with all the other artifact creatures. I noticed this when planning for the Dude challenge, since it was still there after filtering all noncreatures. I'm not sure if you could actually play Tangle Wire in Dude though :p

edit: Dryad Arbor is not a forest when Forestwalk is considered. AI attacked with only forestwalk creatures while I had a dryad arbor and I was asked if I wanted to block them. This is a little strange, because I'm pretty sure stuff like Land Grant or fetchlands work on Dryad Arbor.

Something weird happens in gauntlet mode when playing mass discard in turn one: Once with Wheel of fortune, twice with Nicol Bolas: AI discards his entire hand... But from a random deck from my deck collection! For example, AI using a Soldier deck in Onslaugh challenge was damaged by a Nicol Bolas hasten with Sneak Attack, and AI discarded: Two Hippies, a Badlands, an Ashenmoor Gouger, a Chrome Mox and a Dark Confidant :S.. I recognized them from my Speed Black deck. It happened three times during Onslaugh challenge.

I'll try to do it again and upload a savegame.

this happens when you start the challenge mode again after you´ve lost the challenge.you have to shut down the game and restart to try a challenge again.

I put an Armadillo Cloak on a Rhox War Monk, and attacked with it. It was blocked, then I ended up gaining 20 Life instead of 10.
