Magic: the Gathering CD-Rom 2009 Updated for Windows 7

The download is a 7-zip compressed file, contained in is a CD-Rom ISO image.

The ISO image can be burned to disc with about any CD burning program I can think of.

Alternately, you can mount the image ina virtual drive such as DAEMON TOOLS or Slysoft.com's Virtual Clone Drive.

After that it is just simple install process (that will look VERY familiar)

That's just run from the desktop shortcut

Professional grade installer, allows the user full control of the installation.

Reworked Autorun Menu featuring animated splash screen and original CD art work and sounds.

New Tutotrial Viewer, sorry but only the AVIs are displayed at this time. I'm trying to figure out a way to grab the other animations but this is proving to be very difficult and may not be possible. You have the option to eother play the tutorial from the CD (saves hard drive space) or to install the tutorial to the hard drive (ease of use and best performance).



Installer Features:

Installer presentation with slide show and music from the original installer.

All the original reg entries are created by the installer.

The full game is installed already patch with mana link 201 plus all the card latest community card packs!

A new Magic the Gathering Launcher Application. The allows for starting the Deck Builder, Magic or Shandalar directly from the Launcher as well options for enabling and disabling the Magic Key in the registry. The Manuals can also be viewed from the Launcher.

However the BIG feature of the new installer is the fact that it automatically installs the ACT Fix WITHOUT having to use the Application Compatibility Toolkit.

Still fits on a single CD-Rom disc too.

Ok, I'm done, off to play Empire: Total War now.(modded-out of course)

would this include also the updated files under manalink201, DuelartNew, CardArtNew, Playdecks, etc.
please include those updates... pls. because of so many existing topics and threads related to the MTG software (MTG 2009, MOK's, MTG DoTP, etc.) I can't see which one should I download, should be the updated.

This includes the 2.01 fix. Because of all the confusion surrounding subsequent updates, they will probably be omitted.

That is awesome news! I've got shandalar working in Windows 7, but sealed deck just hasn't worked right and I didn't want to go through the hassle of using a virtual machine. Can't wait to see the final product.

Very awesome, indeed! New laptop = Windows7 = Shandalar and Manalink dead in the water ever since.

I hope there will be a nice set of instructions on How To apply all that stuff. You know, for those of us for whom the obvious isn't nearly obvious enough.
