Does ManaLink online play still work? Or, has the name manalink just been borrowed to refer to new updates and mods?

Also, I am currently playing off the 2010 ISO installer. Is this the recommended/definitive version these days?

Multiplayer should work but only for the ISO, follow the wiki instructions for it.
