edit : by the way, if one of you guys still has friday's version of the set editor I would be happy to have it as a rescue version. thanks :)
You get this before anything loads up? If you're willing to help a little more, here's my last ditch debugging effort for you. Download process monitor.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysi ... 96645.aspx Run it, and filter the process name on CustomSetEditor. Load the editor. When it crashes, save the output from the monitor and send it to me.

I got the command window and then the runtime error.
ok
I'm running the monitor and set the process name to CustomSet Editor. I tried to load the editor and... i got no output from the monitor. the columns remained blank unless There's something I didn't do right.

Just run CustomSetEditor.exe directly. That'll at least skip the command window bit.

Jatill, any clue about my problem with the Art folder? I really can't guess why the program can't look at it.

Are you running the set editor from c:\magic\program? Also, did you try running the exe I uploaded today? If not, please try that and let me know the result (get the art from the internet for now).

here is the crash When I run it from the My2000 exe.

the difference is I don't get the CMD window window when i try to run it directly from the editor.

Yes, to both questions!
I'm able to run the program, but there is something related to cardartCus folder that is causing the program to crash. At first, i thouught that it may be because I'm still missing some art, but this also happens when i try to browse cards as raging bull or serra angel, which of course have their own arts.
In case, tomorrow I will try to repeat the whole process but I think it will be useless.

Ok, I was able to reproduce that error and fix the bug. Try again (with lots of annoying popup messages)

fixed

Also, mathusalem's problem was that his customseteditor.txt was blank. Check yours too, and if it is blank, you can get the right version from the one-time download.

No, my txt is not blank! With this new editor the custom library art was loaded from the cardArtCus, but in the paste process the runtime error still occurred, and only the art was copied. I´m about to give up! #-o
Using Win7 32bit

P.S.: And I can't load Magic Custom from Switcher, only from MagicCustom.exe!
P.P.S.: When I only copy the art, no errors occurs!

In this SS the art of Archmage Ascension was copied over CoP: Black art, but not the card at all.
