OK, glad to see jatill & harry are here now too.

Great news Harry on working to expand magic.exe with what your doin with .dll files. This is a huge step forward in really opening up the game to even more cards! :D

I'm starting a new thread for you programmers to post all your info as this one was just a meeting place for all to come and find each other. I want to keep your work easy to find and give it top priority!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT
There is a new topic now called "ManaLink Updates & Info"

Topic is now a Sticky!

Please use it to post any info regarding programming & codeing.

Later on, will start a bug thread as well!

Mathy, I will Sticky a graphics thread as well!

Let me know if you guys need anything else.

Have at it gents! 8)

For Jatill to add on the tutorial:

Address 4EF184 keeps track of which phase we're in:

01 Untap step
04 Upkeep step
(still need to investigate better if there are more codes in this table, perhaps for different types of procedures concerning upkeep costs)
0A Draw step
14 Main phase before attack
15 Attack step + declare attackers (if none are selected it skips to 1E)
16 Fast effects step before blockers
17 Blocking step
18 Fast effects step before damage
19 First strike damage step
1A Regular damage step
1E Main phase after attack
1F Discard step
(Still couln't find the code for end turn step)

These codes are valid for both human player and AI

Address 628670 keeps track of which player's turn is active:

00 Human's turn
01 AI's turn

17 Blocking step
18 Fast effects step before damage
19 First strike damage step
Based on that information, is it possible to add an "assign combat damage step", where damage is dealt but doesn't resolves? In the game the combat damage is resolved immediatly after blockers are declared, so you never recieve priority to deal combat damage with your Mogg Fanatic and then sacrifice it to deal another... you either have to choose "deal combat damage" or "sacrifice it to deal 1 damage" in the "declare blockers step", it's annoying and not supported by "new" rules.
