From the csv, we have now around 12000+ cards with token, specials and uncoded cards ? The new limit is 16000 right?
If so aren't we already to the next limit?

that is how many total MTG cards there are in the real game as of right now. i think we are around 4-5k that are coded? maybe im wrong but i think that is our total..we have a long way to go to hit that mark

Yeah they won't hit the 16k limit as far as different magic cards go until 2016 or later so if we get a militant group to code every single card in existence right now about 12kish different cards we could potentially have every card in the game.
Even if we eventually cap out at 16k we can then start just removing the absolutely horrible cards or clone cards that are boring like the 15 versions of grizzly bear basically.

Yes, I agree. And there is something even more boring and lame that the mighty
Grizzly Bears clones

Once they were glorious cards! I'm thinking right now at Homeland 3-mana lands or at the clones of
Bog Wraith !

Even if WotC starts releasing 1000 completely new cards a year (unlikely, with most of the Specials and Dual sets being 'money for old rope' reprints), I think we're still looking at a minimum of 4 years before we need to start running round like headless chickens screaming "16000 slot limit... Ahhhhhh!"

And even if we reach that limit, we still could remove all the old junk for complete sets over slot 2000, "compact" the CSV and have A LOT of space available.

I have an idea for the wishlist, but this might be too big of a suggestion though.
But the idea is to have some kind of difficulty levels or rulesets or whatever, put in to the game somehow. So it would enforce the MTG sets, you know, "Standard", and "Extended" and "Classic", and "Pauper" etc... I know you can do some of these already, but for those of us who can't keep up with the latest card rules and rotations, the game could enforce it for us.
Or maybe it could just go in the Deck Editor and when you make a new deck, you can choose a format and then it looks at the cards and tells you if any cards are illegal.

Well I got a card from my wishlist in this last update

And some of the new cards make my old choices obsolete. So I may as well make a new wishlist:

Children of Korlis)
GuileDominus of FealtyPilgrim's EyeWarp WorldVigorRuned HaloAngel's Grace Mangara of Corondor Thousand-Year Elixir
