Here's a few (>>10!) from my personal collection (read: older cards than most here are requesting) that I'd love to see. Most of the ones I want to see are either powerful cards, combo cards, utility-type cards, or, most importantly, are just a hell of a lot of fun. Yeah, I know it's way more than 10, but Jatill said to go ahead in another thread. I left off some of the ones on the list that I thought wouldn't see enough use by the community, and so weren't worth coding, at least not before most of these below.

NAME - (similar card abilities/effects) - reason for being

EASY coding: (I'm assuming/hoping)
Mind Over Matter (twiddle + discard) - broken, degenerate T1 card in many decks (restricted, or was in my day, can you say Tolarian Academy?)
Mirari (3 mana Fork trigger on instant/sorcery) - Not overpowered, but sure is fun!
Stroke of Genius (braingeyser instant) - restricted card (or was...) that I like better than braingeyser, plus it should take our expert coders about 3 seconds to make
Coffin Queen (Rubinia Soulsinger + Animate Dead) - Not overpowered, but also really fun!
Jester's Cap (similar to tutor code + necropotence effect on the 3 cards) - might be harder than I think, kills combo decks
Goblin Offensive (X goblin tokens, should be cake) - good for casual goblin decks
Gamekeeper (similar to Pattern of Rebirth) - good for casual big creatures or perhaps combo decks
Seraph & Krovikan Vampire (Sengir Vampire + Animate Dead) - fun cards
Stormbind (Coral Helm + Shock) - nice card that saw a lot of T2 use in it's day, would be nice to more properly replicate old decklists
Phleddagrif (not sure, but simple effects all 3) - a flying hippo! doesn't get more fun than that! not a bad card either, (4/4 for 4) but not great
Endless Wurm (Lord of the Pit) - 9/9 for 5 mana, works wonders with Rancor, assuming Rancor is working these days
Thran Golem (rabid wombat) - not that good a card, but fun! Used this in a phat green casual deck with lots of fatties/enchant creatures
Ancestral Mask (rabid wombat) - fun card, used in the deck with thran golem, endless wurm, and others
Multani's Decree (tranquility + ?) - for 1 mana over Tranquility, gain some life
Iceberg (Mana batteries, rock hydra) - kind of a silly card, but could be neat in some casual decks (maybe with X damage burn?)
Recall (time spiral RFG, regrowth + discard) - was restricted card in my day, expensive mana cost but good card
Hell's Caretaker (sac effect + animate dead) - just another fun card!
Skull of Orm (regrowth effect targeting enchantment) - Used in the phat green deck above, good in some combo decks
Befoul (dark banishing / sinkhole) - decent card, should be extremely easy
Rackling (The Rack + 2/2) - easy to make, useful in discard decks, stronger than The Rack, but more mana to play and more vulnerable to removal
Rogue Elephant (use Kjeldoran Outpost sac requirement on Forest) - One of the best weenies in the game, period, plus easy to make
Seismic Mage (Stone Rain) - powerful card if you can keep it alive long enough, but as a 1/1 that's tricky
Avalanche Riders (Stone Rain + echo from Deranged Hermit) - powerful card in its day in T2
Thoughtleech (inverse of Lifetap) - Should be really easy
Faerie Conclave + other land creatures (Mishra's Factory) - Landstill decks
Savage Twister (earthquake, hurricane) - useful removal, except for RG cost
Whirlwind (Wrath of God, Wind Snare) - Green has almost no flyers, so this isn't bad
Lab Rats (buyback effect + 1/1 rat token) - should be easy to do, not really that great though, but RATS! :D
Gorilla Shaman (Shatter + X + 1/1 dude) - great card
Feast or Famine (2/2 zombie or terror) - zombies! I like cards with choices
Souldrinker (Jenara, Asura of War) - replace 1W with 3 life, shouldn't be too hard to do. Works alright with Spirit Link
Thrulls (most are pretty basic) - theme deck of thrulls! (if it isn't fallen empires, it isn't thrulls! :p)
Glacial Chasm (Lich, Cyclone cumulative upkeep, block attack phase) - A card I'm surprised doesn't see more play. Good for protecting oneself to set up the win, or using in combo decks where you might be doing a lot of damage to yourself

MEDIUM coding (assuming, based on previously done cards)
Volrath's Stronghold (graveyard target + topdeck the target) - I think this is a very undervalued card that I like a lot!
Urborg Panther/Feral Shadow/Breathstealer (goblin tutor for itself effect) - The Spirit of the Night combo, the pieces of the combo are easy to make, but getting the urborg panther to work might prove tougher
Snuff Out (force of will alternate cost, terror) - alternate cost cards are fun!
Multani's Presence (Fecundity trigger but on countered spells) - card advantage against counterspells, triggering on counter might be hard, not sure
Jackal Pup (personal incarnation, simulacrum) - one of red's best weenies, might be tough to get it's drawback coded
Serra Avatar (Progenitus) - I nearly crapped myself when this card came out! Lots of fun combos to do with this one
Snake Pit (Wurm's Eye et al but only for opponent's spells) - tokens are fun!

HARD coding (don't expect to see any of these, but then I didn't expect Necropotence or Mana Drain, either)
Demonic Consultation (Ring of Ma'ruf) - great card but probably a nightmare to code, don't really expect this to happen anytime soon
Yawgmoth's Will (nether shadow, anger) - incredible card, but probably one of the hardest cards to code that I could name (okay, Word of Command or Shahrazad are probably harder, but that's about it)
Future Sight (nothing I can think of) - great card, but probably really hard again
Squee, Goblin Nabob (nether shadow) - Staple in many decks (survival of the fittest, bazaar of baghdad) and it's even a goblin! :p
Amulet of Quoz (contract from below) - one of two ante cards not yet coded, will be more important if Shandalar ever gets the community cards
Timmerian Fiends (bronze tablet + artifact target) - the other ante card not yet coded, but probably ante cards will be quite hard to code
Serrated Arrows (triskelion) - staple in T2 decks back in the day, needed for recreating old decklists (I substitute rod of ruin when netdecking those)
Living Death (wrath of god, animate dead) - great combo card, but keeping track of where all the creatures are supposed to be sounds hard
Desertion (counterspell, mana drain, control magic/steal artifact) - Expensive at 3UU but one of the most fun counters
Elvish Spirit Guide (force of will) - discard for G at any time, useful if you really need speed
Misdirection (counterspell + fork + force of will) - probably hard to do, but may be possible by Forking the target and countering the original
Thallids (nothing?) - theme deck (again, if it isn't fallen empires, it isn't a saproling!)

aww, thanks for posting your list. Some of your 'easy' cards are super tough / impossible, and vice versa, but that doesn't matter. Listing the cards you think are similar does help. If we crack the card limit, expect to see several of these cards added. (especially Demonic Consultation, since I'd like to add as much of the Vintage Restricted list as possible).

Yeah, those were just my own personal guesses, but it's good to hear a few of them might be easier than I thought :)

Zombie decks are more fun with Stength of Night in them. Requires a green splash, but most likely you want access to Naturalize anyway.
Living Death / Patriarch's Bidding seconded. When I looked for mass reanimation, I found very little.
Spiritmonger was a creature I tried to find and could not. Good solid 5-drop there.
Mephidross Vampire is a Tooth and Nail staple, and we already have Triskelion.
Suffocating Blast is by far my favorite multicolored counterspell. The life gain/loss of the others just isn't enough to warrant the casting costs.
Arcane Laboratory / Rule of Law if you can get them working.
Windborn Muse / Ghostly Prison / Propaganda would be nice. Current control means having to kill everything and then having to deal with new creatures seperately.
Essence Sliver is a must. Other missing but useful slivers would be Brood Sliver , Shifting Sliver , Sliver Legion , Sliver Overlord , and Synapse Sliver . Also, perhaps Hunter Sliver and Fury Sliver , but those are probably more difficult since I haven't seen anything with Double Strike or Provoke yet.
Future Sight . Okay, not really, just wanted to see you squirm at the thought of coding it.
Genesis Chamber because Skullclamp isn't broken enough already. =P

I'll think of more later. There's a bunch of tribal cards missing too, but if I went into that list I'd be going on forever. Although if I was going to start, it'd probably be with an old Cleric deck I was fond of. Not the Rotlung Reanimator kind, but more of the Doubtless One / Profane Prayers variety.

Pretty sure Golden Lotus is going to be at the top of my list.

Awesome: http://afufu.net/noir/2009/05/mtg-m10-9 ... den-lotus/

.Ophidian Eye (Curiosity with flash from Benalish Knight, maybe)
I recreated my Tim deck, splashing green for Keen Sense. If Mind over Matter is implemented, then it would be much sweeter to switch to mono-blue.

Sabertooth Cobra (possibly a modified Nafs Asp?)
I used to play a poison deck a bit. It wasn't ever any good, but it was fun to mess around with it.

Thrull Champion (Muscle Sliver, modded to work with Thrulls instead, and maybe a modded Willow Satyr)
The new cards preview showed a few of the old Fallen Empire thrulls. It would be awesome to have their lord with them, but I realise that it would be a lot of work to put him in.

That's only three, but right now I'm more concerned about the 2000 card limit. I'm seeing what I can do, but I'd bet that someone else is a lot closer to figuring it out than me.

Golden Lotus can make 10 mana of all sorts of colors on turn 5, but so can Heartbeat of Spring. If you're going to combo out, Heartbeat is safer, even if it is prone to enchantment destruction. The lotus may make a huge splash in Standard, but for us it's nothing special. Besides, if you're thinking of dropping Progenitus, you may as well Urzatron your way to tapping 7GG and cast Tooth and Nail. That way, you can also slap Akroma down and end the game one turn earlier (usually 22 damage by the end of your next turn's combat phase).

Anyway, if all of 0rion79's cards get coded in, we'd be at 1999, so yeah, I think working around the limit has to come first.

Or, you know, go with my plan and build a casually viable Door to Nothingness deck with the golden lotus.

Not to be a downer or anything, but isn't it easier just to activate Door to Nothingness through the castings of Twincast / Fork and Channel the Suns? Doing it with the Golden Lotus means first dropping the 5 mana artifact, then saccing 3 untapped lands, then taking another turn to untap and activate. Through the CtS method, you drop the 5 mana artifact first, then pay 6 mana (3GUU or 3GRR) next turn to win. Seems easier, and we already have the cards for it. =P
