Frequent Crashes with Win8

HI all,

I don't know how many of you are experiencing Magic with the new, cool Windows 8, but my experience is going to be very bad. In fact, almost always I can't complete a game because the game crashes among turn 4 or 6. I really don't get if it is a particular kind of card that makes the game to crash or if it is just a matter of fitting among Magic and Win8.
Are you experiencing the same?

Did you try to run with decks that didn't crash in win7 and before? Because the latest patch introduce a lot of cards but also a lot of bugs that are currently bugfixed.

Also w8 is only good for tablet system, the performance difference with its predecessor is too small to be of use, and on top of that I don't like Metro for desktop PC.

Hi, I'm having problems with my Win8 64 bits and gauntlets, when I try to play, the game freezes. But with solo play i have no problems

it is well know that win 8 has a lot of problems with compatibility
you should consider change to win 7. (i'm just saying) and not for just this game!

As far as I've found windows 8 has the exact same compatibility as windows 7. I run lots of old games, and have yet to see one perform any different between 7 and 8.

Manalink also runs the same- only crashes I've been seeing are the same ones my GF gets on her windows 7. I guess something is wrong with the install.

Yeah, or the decks. (And like Stassy said, that might be fixed when the new patch comes).
