Will Forge ever allow you play against a human opponent?

I like Forge as I think the card implementations are considerably less buggy than Mage. However, Mage DOES let me play against a friend which is vital for deck testing.
Will Forge ever implement the ability to play against another human opponent?

The general consensus when this question comes up is "Eventually? Yes, probably. Soon? Not likely."
The focus of Forge is on Cards,AI and user interface (not necessarily in that order) and that, combined with the fact that adding multiplayer would be a huge job, is why Forge likely won't have multiplayer support for quite a while.

So now you're
Screaming for the blood of the cookie monster
Evil puppet demon of obesity
Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me
