When the AI is low on life, it will activate man-lands like Genju of the Cedars, but doesn't attack. It does correctly activate them on my turn to block, but if it activates these during its turn, it should feel free to attack as the effect wears off at the end of turn anyway.

If they would attack, they can't block because the enchanted lands are tapped. They shouldn't activate at all.

I feel like we should add a "Defensive" SVar for creatures that should only attack if the AI thinks it can win the game (or come close to winning).

The AI just attacked with his Fog of Gnats for one damage, and is going to suffer 5 in return because he doesn't have a reliable blocker behind. We could give this SVar to basically anything that should stay around to block, or stay around to activate abilities instead of attacking.

Edit: Attacking with Llanowar Elves, Copper Myr and a few other things. Opponent has untapped Dunerider Outlaw. The Outlaw chose to block the Myr (probably because it has a higher CMC) but it would have survived if it blocked the Elves (protection).

just a quick observation it seams the ai doesn't attack aggressive enough like its too happy to sit back and not attack. I could be wrong but it seams that way to me.

The attached screenshot displays the situation. I should have been dead on the computer's last attack. The Kor Cartographer has a Drake Umbra attached to it. The Ikiral Outrider has an Armored Ascension attached to it. None of my creatures have flying. I am just about to kill the computer.

I've had several games where the AI converts land to a x/x 'creature' but AI never seems to attack with them. The AI also converts land to 'creatures' even when the land has already been tapped...

you can force AI to skip those mistakes by changing the card code a bit. set the activation limit to 1 per turn and only if the permanent is untapped. Works fine with Inkmoth Nexus & co.

Some fixes were added in the last beta. The AI should no longer animate tapped or summoning sick lands (and not lands already animated). If you use the last beta and still see this, please report in detail.

Note: The AI will still animate a land and chose not to attack with it. This is much harder to rule out.

AI had a Phyrexian Crusader, I had a 1/1 token. The AI played 2 unkicked Vampire's Bite on the Crusader making it a 8/2, which was then heroically blocked by my 1/1... #-o

i've noticed that sometimes the computer will activate one of its manlands but tap the land it is trying to animate to pay the cost. so it ends up blowing mana on nothing every turn.

I can't remember his name, but there's an artifact creature with metalwork: protection from all colors.

he's a 2/2 and he wins me basically any game against colors that aren't control decks, they just attack like he doesn't have that ability and he can either shunt off the damage or systematically kill all their attackers each wave

I attacked with a Platinum Emperion and a Wurmcoil Engine with an Akroma's Memorial on my side. The computer double blocked with a Thermal Glider and a Voice of Law. Huh?
