I'm just waiting on a longer ethernet cable to arrive. The ones I have won't reach my server from the router.Shadowzeny wrote:Hey Krazythefox, is your server still uploading snapshot builds? as of late I've only seen it going up to the 5 of September as well as ChrisH's link is dead?

The server that was used to host beta and snapshot builds is no longer being used or maintained.
We are now using a new and different server.
I will still release beta builds on occasion but I will no longer release the snapshots myself.

The death sound effect is incredibly annoying. Is there a way to update snapshots so that some guy isn't screaming "AAAAAAAAH!" every time a creature/planeswalker dies, besides deleting it over and over?
Or better yet, replace it altogether? I think a shattering sound would do for killing something.

If you remove the files from the res/sounds folder they will not play.

I already said that, it will reappear every single time forge is updated, which is a lot considering snapshots are posted often.Corwin72 wrote:If you remove the files from the res/sounds folder they will not play.

You can turn off sounds in the options...matrix4767 wrote:The death sound effect is incredibly annoying. Is there a way to update snapshots so that some guy isn't screaming "AAAAAAAAH!" every time a creature/planeswalker dies, besides deleting it over and over?

Snapshots are back! You can get them at the usual place: http://krazyweb.net/forge/
It's now set up as a cronjob on the cardforge.link server. It checks for revisions every 10 minutes and, if there is one, it runs the build. The build itself takes about 3 minutes.

Thanks for getting this up & running again. I know what a pain in the ass moving is & things never work out the way we plan, especially when they are time dependant as was the case of getting your server back online.KrazyTheFox wrote:Snapshots are back! I & many others really missed this awesome service you provide & just want to say thanks for making this asset available to all of us as it's very much appreciated!

have to look so far down to find this now; I think this is something that should be pinned personally.
